Cheongdam izakaya at sunset: Korean beef motsu nabe, Osa Cheongdam

I'm back with a review of Osa Cheongdam, where you can feel that garden vibe right in the middle of Cheongdam-dong!

Osa Cheongdam is known as one of the best restaurants in Cheongdam, a high-end dining spot where you can enjoy everything from authentic robatayaki and open-fire grilling to seasonal sashimi and sushi. With a great-vibe terrace and well-equipped private rooms, it's one of the most popular spots for dates, blind dates, and birthday parties 💝 Let me start my honest review after enjoying some wonderful dishes in a luxurious atmosphere 😊

What are the terrace and private rooms like at Osa Cheongdam?

Walking into Osa Cheongdam, the nature-friendly, emotional atmosphere really stood out, living up to the brand's 'dining in a garden' concept! There's a terrace space where you can enjoy romance all year round, plus 13 private rooms and a large room 🌿 Each has its own heating/cooling and sound system, so it seems perfect for blind dates, birthday parties, or anniversary gatherings!

I visited after making a reservation and was seated on the terrace! It happened to be right as the sun was setting, and it was so pretty ..🤍

Because of that special atmosphere, it seems famous as a blind date spot too! In fact, both tables next to us were on blind dates •• 👀

The basic table setting was done so neatly,

The basic otoshi (small starter dish) was an eggplant dish! The combination of soft eggplant and crunchy sliced onion was so good. I'm not an eggplant person, but I kept reaching for more 🙌🏻

Sashimi moriawase for two, 68,000 won: 12 kinds of seasonal sashimi

First came the sashimi moriawase for two (₩68,000). This menu consists of 12 kinds of seasonal sashimi! I'd been eyeing the visuals ever since I booked .. >< I've been to plenty of sashimi restaurants, but the plating here was easily the best I've seen.

I tried the white fish pieces one by one and every single one melted in my mouth .. 👅💦 Especially the sweet shrimp!!!! It was so, so good ㅜㅜ

The dish was plated so beautifully that I was in a good mood the whole time eating it :)

Korean beef motsu nabe, 38,000 won, packed with daechang (beef intestine)

Next, since I was craving soup, I ordered the wagyu motsu nabe (₩38,000)! This one's bubbling visual is pretty striking too 🥵🥵 It's a dish packed with Korean beef offal (gopchang), beef brisket, mushrooms, and chives.

If you love daechang (large intestine), you have to order this ••••• the big pieces of daechang are packed in generously 🐷

Birthday event and the handmade dessert review event

Cheongdam restaurant Osa Cheongdam is currently running a birthday event and a handmade dessert review event! Perfect if you're looking for a birthday party spot near Cheongdam 👏🏻

We also wrote a Naver review and received a handmade dessert! It was a Häagen-Dazs matcha ice cream monaka with red bean 💚 The monaka wafer was thin and crisp, so good haha

The Osa Cheongdam terrace after sunset, and what made it easy

Osa Cheongdam's terrace gets even more atmospheric once the sun goes down. It's not for nothing that it's known as a blind date and date spot •• 🤭

Also, it was convenient that the staff call button let you select various specific requests directly!

At the counter, phone charging and portable battery rental (paid) were also available!

Is Osa Cheongdam worth it? Final verdict

Cheongdam restaurant Osa Cheongdam lived up to its 'dining in a garden' concept, letting me enjoy both wonderful dishes and atmosphere at once! In particular, the luxurious atmosphere and the quality of the seasonal sashimi were excellent, and it was perfect for a date or a birthday party course ⭐️ If you're near Cheongdam-dong looking for an izakaya with great atmosphere or dining for a special occasion, Osa Cheongdam is well worth a visit :)
