I was looking for a nice-vibe spot in Cheongdam-dong and ended up at this izakaya gem.

From the entrance alone, this Cheongdam-dong restaurant <Osa Cheongdam> gives off a high-end vibe.

To the left of the entrance was the private room area, and to the right, the terrace seats.

Are the private rooms at Osa Cheongdam good for a group?

Osa Cheongdam has plenty of rooms for a private dining experience. The soundproofing was actually pretty good, so it seems like a great Cheongdam-dong spot for gatherings.

Outside there were also terrace seats. We used the Osa Cheongdam terrace seats to catch the cool breeze.

The space is decorated like a garden, so it has a totally different mood from the interior.

At 6pm, the terrace roof opens and turns it into a fully open-air space!! From that point on, the atmosphere is seriously the best.. ෆ

Since it's outdoors, I was a bit worried about bugs, but before I even asked, staff brought us mosquito repellent. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out. ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ♡°◌̊

There were also blankets prepared at the table, so when it got a bit chilly in the evening, we wrapped up and it wasn't as cold as I expected.

Sashimi moriawase for two, 68,000 won: 12 kinds of aged sashimi

Sashimi moriawase for two, ₩68,000. A menu with 12 kinds of aged sashimi (raw fish) served together! It included striped jack mackerel, scallop, abalone, sea bream, tuna loin, flounder, amberjack, sea urchin, fatty tuna, octopus simmered in soy sauce with yellow mustard on top, sweet shrimp, and smoked Spanish mackerel.

Overall, the aged sashimi was fresh with a nice chewy texture. If you're someone who loves sashimi like me, you'll be satisfied with this!

Tiger shrimp bisque pasta, 36,000 won

Tiger shrimp bisque pasta, ₩36,000. A pasta with bisque sauce made from ground shrimp shells, topped with charcoal-grilled black tiger shrimp! The sauce had that deep, distinct seafood flavor, so if you like seafood, this will suit your taste well. The noodles were cooked just right without going soft, so the texture was good too.

The black tiger shrimp was also cooked just right, with a springy, firm texture I really loved.

Tomato highball, 15,000 won, and Ebisu draft beer

Tomato highball ₩15,000, Ebisu draft beer ₩14,000. Because of the name, I thought the tomato highball would have a strong tomato flavor. But it wasn't as strong as expected, which actually made it an easy-drinking cocktail menu item.

We got a Suntory highball on the house, which made me so happy!! (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)

And one thing I personally found convenient — the restroom! It's located near the entrance of Osa Cheongdam, so the flow was easy while eating. Overall, this is a place that felt comfortable from the food to the space to the service.

Is Osa Cheongdam worth it for a night out in Cheongdam?

The rooms were great for a private meal, and the terrace has such a garden-like mood that it would be even better on a nice-weather day. I think it would work well not just for dates or blind dates, but also when you're looking for a quiet place for a gathering.

If you're looking for a Cheongdam-dong restaurant with good atmosphere and service on top of good food, it's worth a visit at least once. Especially if you love seafood like me, I'd recommend ordering the sashimi moriawase together with the tiger shrimp bisque pasta! That's it for today's Gangnam food adventure.
