After a filling lunch on the first day of our Jeju trip, we headed to Gluttony ☕ for dessert. When you think of Jeju you think of big oceanview cafés, but this place felt like a stylish little spot that had naturally settled into the neighborhood — like we'd stumbled onto a real local's café!
Where to park at Gluttony Coffee near Jeju Airport
Gluttony Coffee is at 38 Gudam-ro 2-gil in Jeju City, not far from Jeju Airport either. We drove, so parking was a bit of a worry, but there's a public parking lot right in front of the café, so we parked there without any trouble.
Instead of sitting smack in the middle of a tourist zone, it's in a relatively quiet neighborhood, which made it a nice little breather from the crowds during our Jeju trip 👏 Sometimes a café like this beats the giant tourist-area places, right?
First stop inside Gluttony Coffee: the dessert counter
Right at the counter there was a Chuseok gift set ready to go 🎁 — levain cookies and financiers packaged up nicely for sale. You could immediately tell this is a place that makes a wide variety of its own desserts in-house. The packaging looked clean enough for a gift too, good for holidays or a small special occasion.
First things first, we read the menu closely haha. That day we ordered an iced Americano, a summer latte, fig cake, tiramisu, and canelé 🤤 We'd just eaten a big lunch and figured we'd only have a light coffee, but once we started browsing the desserts we ended up with two cakes and a canelé too haha.
What desserts are in the Gluttony Coffee showcase?
Right next to the register sat the espresso machine and coffee beans. There were so many desserts that our eyes naturally went to the bakery case first, but it turned out to be a proper dessert café where you can enjoy good coffee alongside it all ☕
The showcase had chocolate cake, Oreo choco cake, tiramisu, and fig cake. When we visited it was peak fig season, so fig cake was on offer — seems like the cake lineup shifts with what fruit is in season!
Beside the register there was also a whole spread of cookies and baked goods. It's not just a couple of options — there's plenty to choose from, so you end up lingering in front of the showcase, low-key agonizing over what to get haha ❤️ This is a dangerous(?) place to come
