Siheung outlet kalguksu restaurant with adjustable spice: Pyeongi

In short

Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu Siheung Premium Outlets is a Korean restaurant inside Siheung Premium Outlets in Siheung, Gyeonggi, serving bone kalguksu (bone noodle soup) and suyuk (boiled pork) sets. On this visit the writer and a friend ordered one spicy bone kalguksu with pork jowl suyuk set and one bibim kalguksu (spicy mixed noodle) with pork jowl suyuk set and shared both, asking for less sauce to make the bibim kalguksu milder. Promotions rotate — a free dumpling with orders over 30,000 won, ice cream for a receipt review — so reading the whole menu board before ordering pays off.

Back at Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu inside Siheung Premium Outlets

Today's story is about my go-to spot, my forever-go spot haha — Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu Siheung Premium Outlets. There's nothing better when you're shopping at the outlet and start getting hungry :) Parking is easy and the food is good, so I end up here almost without hesitation every time I go.

If you're looking for a good restaurant at Siheung Premium Outlets, this post should help~ Whenever I'm at the outlet, this place's bone kalguksu is what I pick without much thought haha. It just naturally becomes part of my outlet trip route lol. Sometimes I even go to the outlet just to eat this 😆

Menu board update: pork jowl suyuk limited to 30 servings

Pyeongi Dambaek has quite a variety, from bone kalguksu sets to spicy bone soup rice, mixed kalguksu, and perilla oil kalguksu haha. And the menu board had changed a bit from before! First, pork jowl suyuk is now limited to 30 servings a day, and the squid muchim (spicy seasoned squid) has been swapped for pollock sashimi muchim!

What's in the spicy bone kalguksu and pork jowl suyuk set

This time I ordered the spicy bone kalguksu with pork jowl suyuk set. I usually go for the clear bone kalguksu, but that day I was a bit stressed out lol, so spicy sounded just right haha. Stirring the chili paste into the broth brings up a strong spicy kick that was perfect for blowing off some steam haha.

The noodles were thick and chewy, holding onto the broth well, and topped with egg garnish and green onion, which made it look pretty appetizing too, don't you think? haha

Dipping the meat pulled off the big bones into the special sauce was seriously delicious haha. I'd call it a spicy garlic sauce lol — smooth and clean-tasting with no gamey smell, so I kept reaching for more!

Crunchy cucumber-pepper muchim and kimchi came out as side dishes, and they paired nicely with the kalguksu. The cucumber-pepper muchim especially kept its crunch and did a great job cutting through the richness.

The pork jowl suyuk that came with the set was tender and juicy — so good! It came with salted shrimp, garlic, and cheongyang chili, so you could dress it up however you like and it was really delicious haha.

Bibim kalguksu set: how to order it less spicy

There was another menu I'd been debating whether to order, but since I ended up not getting it, my friend who came with me ordered it to share — the mixed kalguksu with pork jowl suyuk set. Thanks, friend ♡

Mixed kalguksu topped with vegetables and boiled egg

Personally, I think this mixed kalguksu is the real standout here. The spicy-savory sauce clings nicely to the noodles, and it's loaded with lettuce and perilla leaves, giving it a fun texture that makes you keep mixing it up. There's also half a boiled egg on top, so it was fun watching the yolk burst while mixing. It's a completely different flavor from the spicy bone kalguksu, so ordering both to share was perfect.

It was spicier than I expected, so we asked for less sauce and the spice level was adjustable! Just a tip for you all haha.

Dumpling and ice cream promotions worth checking before you order

Here's a tip: this restaurant runs promotions pretty regularly, but the details change often! On the day we visited, they were giving out free dumplings with orders over ₩30,000, but we missed it at first and had already paid separately for our orders... If you visit Pyeongi Dambaek, make sure to read the entire menu board lol.

Free ice cream received through the receipt review promotion

There was also a separate promotion where leaving a receipt review got you free ice cream. We took part in that one and got some seasonal ice cream haha — perfect for a palate cleanser after the spicy broth. Small, but catching these little promotions is pretty fun too.

Is Pyeongi Dambaek worth it for meat lovers?

If you're looking for a good restaurant at Siheung Premium Outlets, I'd highly recommend Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu! Usually when I get kalguksu I don't feel satisfied on the meat front, but here the noodles come with bones packed with meat, so meat lovers like me will really enjoy it haha. It's the place I naturally end up at every time I come to the outlet, so if you're planning to visit the area, I'd say stop by at least once ^^!! 👍👍
