The owner is incredibly kind. It was my first time at a massage shop in Korea, so I was a little nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable, which was lovely. There was an aroma scent inside too, so it felt calming haha.

Facilities from the foot soak to the shower room

There is a foot-soak area and a massage area.

There’s also a restroom and shower room. You might feel a little sticky after an oil massage, but there’s a shower room, so I don’t think you need to worry!!

After changing, I came back out for my foot soak. I thought regular underwear might be uncomfortable, so I wore a padded camisole, and it was no problem at all!! I asked the owner, and they said to do whatever feels comfortable, so I don’t think it matters much.

They carefully asked whether the water temperature was okay. Soaking my feet in warm water melted my fatigue right away haha. When the time was up, the therapist dried my feet and we headed to the room!!

They check whether you have any pain, how much pressure you want, and which areas to focus on. They even provide a hair tie since you need to tie your hair back a little. My neck, shoulders, and trapezius muscles are usually tight, so I noted that!!

Thai massage room with a floor bed

I booked a single room, and they also have rooms for two and three people. I think a two-person room would be so nice for couples! When I got massages in Thailand, some places had beds with a face hole, but they somehow felt unstable and uncomfortable. This Seomyeon Thai massage is done on a floor bed, though, and I really loved that.

The massage went in order from my neck and shoulders to my back, waist, legs, and face while I lay face down. I didn’t choose a pressure level and left it to the therapist. The pressure felt just right—like the usual level for most people. It’s miserable when it hurts too much, but it’s not great if it’s too gentle either. If you want it stronger or gentler during the session, though, there are simple Thai phrases, so you can just let them know!!

Thai massage focused on the neck and shoulders

Once in a while the pressure was a tiny bit strong and startled me, but it was nothing major haha, so there was no need to say anything!! Lying face down for the massage made me feel like I was traveling, which was nice. They massaged the fascia around my shoulder blades with their fingers, and wow... it felt so good. When a massage feels especially good, I get goosebumps sometimes lol—I got them several times. All the tension and fatigue left my body, and all I could think was, ah, I’m happy~ this feels so good~ haha.

After I’d been lying face down, the therapist told me to turn over. Once you lie on your back looking at the ceiling, they focus mainly on the lower body. I thought I didn’t need lower-body work, but not at all. It felt so good—what would I have done if I’d skipped it.. My legs felt so light.

These days, we don’t go even an hour without looking at a phone screen or another electronic device. So it was nice to close my eyes and rest completely. My shoulders and neck had stayed stiff before the massage, but afterward my body felt much lighter. I was especially satisfied because the feeling of tightness around my shoulders was greatly reduced.

Overall, it was a very satisfying visit for Thai massage in Seomyeon.

On days when I’m stiff from sitting for a long time or walking a lot, stretching alone can feel insufficient. After this massage, my body definitely felt much lighter.

I especially liked being able to focus on areas that often get tight, such as my neck and shoulders, and the massage pressure wasn’t personally overwhelming, so I could relax comfortably.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to relieve fatigue during a date in Seomyeon or a trip to Busan, or who often feels achy and wants to get a proper massage!! It’s easy to get to, so lots of people seemed to come by.

I’m planning to come back when I feel especially stiff or when fatigue builds up again. If you’re looking for Thai massage in Busan, you won’t regret coming here.
