Weekend lunch for three with 18mm fries at Daily Fix Gangnam
In short
Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch is a handmade burger restaurant near Yeoksam Station in Gangnam, Seoul. On a second visit, three of us ordered a Pastrami Sandwich set and a Bacon Cheese Burger for weekend lunch, splitting the 18mm thick-cut fries and regular fries between us. There was no wait at weekend lunchtime, and with bar seats and single-seat tables, it's an easy spot to eat solo too.

What kind of place is Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch?

Daily Fix, the burger spot near Gangnam! This was my second visit — it's the solo-dining sanctuary near Yeoksam Station that singer Kang Min-kyung of Davichi raved about, and it's already famous for placing second at the Korea Burger Championship haha.

What was the atmosphere like?
They'd opened up the big windows to give it an outdoor-patio feel, so I got to enjoy the cool autumn breeze. Since we came for lunch, the warm sunlight streaming in made the vibe even better — it felt like eating in Brooklyn or on some overseas trip.
Menu and prices

This Gangnam burger favorite is run by chefs with years of experience from New York restaurants holding two and three Michelin stars, and they serve up handmade burgers that are on another level! I heard once you taste the thick 150g patty made entirely of Korean beef, there's no going back — which is exactly why I ended up coming back to this Yeoksam Station spot!

This Gangnam burger place sits right near Yeoksam Station, so it was easy to find. My brother-in-law lives in the area, so my husband and I met up with him and had lunch together, the three of us. We each ordered à la carte or as a set to our own taste — doesn't the sight alone already look overwhelming? haha Even looking at these photos now while writing this post, I can almost smell that savory, delicious handmade burger smell again.
Pastrami Sandwich / ₩15,900

My husband's order, the Pastrami Sandwich, combines pastrami cured and smoked for over 80 hours with ciabatta bread, sliced red cabbage pickle, and horseradish sauce — a real taste of America, and one of the signature menu items at this Gangnam burger spot.

It was bigger than I expected — for an adult man, you'd need both hands to get a proper bite in haha. The smoky aroma of the tightly packed cured, smoked pastrami made it impossible to resist digging in right away.

The ciabatta and the filling were both so hefty that unless you know a trick for cutting it with a knife, it takes a bit of time lol.

18mm thick fries set add-on, ₩5,900
We added ₩5,900 to the Pastrami Sandwich to make it a set with 18mm thick fries and Zero Coke! The fries were also bigger and thicker than expected — crispy outside, fluffy inside, letting the potato's clean, savory flavor shine through. A real treat 💛

The combination of salty, smoky pastrami with the finely sliced red cabbage pickle and horseradish was 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 — salty with a big smoky kick, it really felt like eating at a handmade burger joint in America.
Bacon Cheese Burger / ₩12,900

This is the very Bacon Cheese Burger that singer Kang Min-kyung of Davichi raved about at this Gangnam burger spot!!! You get to taste the harmony of handmade bacon that takes over 100 hours to make with a thick patty made entirely of Korean beef.

You're greeted by a bun that's crisp outside yet chewy, a beef patty with just the right thickness and portion for a satisfying solo meal, and handmade bacon that's salty without being tough or gamey — every single bite was delicious!!

Regular fries set add-on, ₩4,900
At this Gangnam burger spot, adding ₩4,900 to the base combo gets you Zero Coke plus a generous portion of crispy, warm regular fries haha. It was fun ordering both the 18mm thick fries and the regular fries separately and sharing them :)

At this Gangnam burger spot, the Kang Min-kyung-approved Bacon Cheese Burger had a bun that was fluffy yet chewy, giving it real bite, and the sprinkling of sesame seeds made it even more savory! The handmade bacon was crispy outside and tender inside, pairing perfectly with the salty cheese and the Korean beef patty haha.
Crispy outside, soft and fluffy inside — even the fries kept coming to mind at this Yeoksam Station favorite, Daily Fix 💛 With the deep richness of the Korean beef patty, the boiled-then-layered pastrami, the savory salty cheese, and the smoky handmade bacon made with over 100 hours of care, this place brought back travel memories that made me wonder — am I in New York right now?

Weekend lunch wait times and solo dining?
Since we visited this Gangnam burger spot for weekend lunch, we got seated right away with no wait — but even if there had been a line, this handmade burger place would've been well worth the wait!! It seemed like a solid lunch spot for Gangnam office workers during the day, and in the evening, with whiskey, highballs, cocktails, and draft beer on offer, it'd be great for dates, casual work dinners, gatherings, or family meals 💛 And since there are bar seats and single seats, feel free to drop by Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch — the solo-dining sanctuary near Yeoksam Station — for lunch or dinner without any pressure!
