Ewha hair salon full-head dye tone-down in 2 hours: Eco Revy Hair

I got a full color done at Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch in Ewha, Seoul haha. I sat there for about two hours, but the result was so satisfying that I wanted to share it right away~

Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch is in an alley near Ewha Station. If you go out Exit 3 and head down the street toward Olive Young, it's right in front of the alley between JAJU and Olive Young haha. The sign itself really stands out! It says "Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch" in big letters, and there was a standing signboard set up near the entrance!

The standing signboard also had info about scalp and hair loss head spa programs, but this time I wasn't there for that — I was there for a full color, so I just glanced at it as I passed. It also said first-time visitors get 30% off hair menu items including cuts, and 50% off scalp and hair clinics, but since I went for color, I'd recommend checking with them directly when you book to confirm exactly what discount applies.

Walking into Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch, the space felt more spacious and pleasant than I expected! I took this photo when it was a bit sparse after some customers had left, but there were about 5 styling chairs. There were also 3 shampoo chairs :)

Tone consultation before the full-head dye: picking a shade for your face tone

They gave me a coffee first!!!!!! Before starting the full color, they checked my desired tone and scalp condition first! I usually only do root touch-ups, but I'd been so busy that months had passed without doing anything to my hair! I knew it was bad but

I didn't realize it was this patchy and in this urgent need of color haha haha. Consulting with the stylist, I got a recommendation for a tone-down shade that would suit me — and during the consultation they also recommended colors that would go well with my face tone, which really helped me decide.

This photo is my hair before color, where you can clearly see the gray hairs and the regrowth of my original hair color. There was a noticeable color difference near the part line. My hair is also fairly long, so I figured the full color would take quite a while overall.

Since it was a full color, it naturally needed plenty of time — they applied it carefully from roots to ends, checking in periodically to see how the color was developing, aigoo ㅠㅠㅠ. It could get a little boring while waiting, but the chairs were comfortable enough that it wasn't too rough.

After the tone-down: did the patchy color get fixed?

This is how it looked right after the treatment finished. The parts with a visible color difference were completely smoothed out, so the overall tone looked so much cleaner ㅠㅠ. Thank you so much, stylist..! The color itself came out naturally, not too strong, and felt easy to pull off. They said it might fade a bit more from here, but I love it so much haha.
