Gangnam café open late for pastries and group tables: Bakerist Brown

It feels like the mornings and evenings have finally gotten chilly~ Which means fall is here, and that means terrace season is here!!!!

I visited Bakerist Brown, a great place to have delicious bread while catching a cool breeze outside~ I actually ate indoors, but there were people enjoying the terrace~ I should have eaten outside too ㅠ

How varied is the bread selection?

Bakerist Brown had such a huge variety of baked goods! There were so, so many that I’m not even sure I photographed them all, haha.

There was salt bread, pastries, kouign-amann, apple crumble pie, sandwich bread, egg tarts, dirty chocolate pain au chocolat, and more!

Put the bread you want in one of these!!! Be careful, though—the dishes are heavy! They were so neat, and even the name itself had such a nice mood.

The little interior details were so cute that they caught my eye! They were also selling T-shirts and other merch!

And I didn’t photograph the drink menu ㅜㅠ They have lots of options, including coffee, apple mango bingsu (shaved ice dessert), ade drinks, and tea! I ordered their signature salt cream coffee!

There are lots of drinks and lots of bakery items, so it would be nice to come alone—but it would also be fun to come with several people and try a variety of things :)

Good seating for groups near Gangnam Station

The café has a basement level plus the first, second, and third floors!

There are so many tables that you can just sit wherever you like!! I didn’t go down to the basement, but these seats are on the second and third floors!

It’s in the alley behind Exit 6 of Gangnam Station, and since there are so many office workers nearby, it’s great to stop by after lunch or dinner!!

There really aren’t many cafés around Gangnam Station that stay open until 10:30 PM! If you want a Gangnam Station café open late, I recommend this place! And as you can see, there are lots of tables~ It’s great for groups too!!! There are even tables that seat 8–10 people!

Trying the eight-flavor Gangnam Sand Cookie set

The Gangnam Sand Cookie set I ordered!! Looking at other people’s blog reviews, it seems they received labels listing the ingredients in each flavor, but I didn’t get them! ㅠㅜ So I’ll write these based on what I found~

• Cream Forest: matcha and cream cheese
• Peanut Butter Wave: peanut and butter
• Black Grain: black sesame and cream
• Golden Hour: caramel and white chocolate
• London Fog: Earl Grey and white chocolate
• Rich Ganache: chocolate and cream

I ate two at the café and packed up the rest to take home! The fillings had softened a little on the way home, so straight into the fridge they went!!

They say Gangnam Sand Cookies taste even better chilled after refrigeration :) They weren’t overly sweet—just pleasantly light and delicious.

It’s nice to try them as a set because you can enjoy different flavors! They also seem like an easy little gift.

And there are so many office workers around Gangnam Station, right? I think they’d be great to share with coworkers nearby too ><

My first sip of salt cream coffee

With the salt cream latte, the very first sip brings the savory saltiness and soft cream right to you! And the coffee underneath was so good?!

If I go back, I want to have an Americano and fully taste that coffee on its own~
