Semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo in Seocho: cool gray arch at Siere Brow

I went to Siere Brow in Gangnam to get my eyebrows semi-permanently tattooed haha

My eyebrows were always so faint that I kept agonizing over it, and finally made the appointment. Spoiler: I was really satisfied with the result, so let me write a detailed review!! (As you can see in the photo, my brows were patchy and spread out messily — they ended up clean and neat.)

How to get to Siere Brow from Gangnam Station Exit 5

Siere Brow's address is 5th floor, Unit 512, Hyundai Girim Officetel, 42 Seochodae-ro 78-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul. The day before my visit, Siere Brow sent me directions, and I'll show you with photos too!

First, come out of Gangnam Station Exit 5, go straight, and pass Dossier Vit Officetel on your right

Turn right and you'll see a GS25 convenience store

And here, on the left, you'll see the Hyundai Girim Officetel building

Go in through the officetel entrance by the ground-level parking lot, take the elevator to the 5th floor, and Siere Brow is the first unit on the right. If you follow this exact route you shouldn't get lost.

Consultation and design: gray for cool skin tones, a slight arch

At the Siere Brow consultation I could choose between two colors, brown or gray, and I picked gray since I'm cool-toned. Brown tends to make my face look a bit washed out.

The owner put so much care into the brows — the consultation itself was really detailed.

She explained everything one by one — how I wanted the arch shaped, what thickness I wanted, and even what shape she'd recommend for me.

She was so thoughtful and attentive the whole time that I felt genuinely comfortable, and I could tell she had a great eye for this haha!

Since I have a round face, I asked for a slight arch so I wouldn't look too round!! She factored in the shape of my brow bone and drew in just the subtlest arch to meet what I wanted. The before-and-after design was carefully matched for symmetry on both sides, shaped to complement each side of my face. She drew it out position by position, and I could clearly see the finished guide shape before the actual tattooing started.

Does an eyebrow tattoo hurt? 15 minutes of numbing cream, then a nap

The prep at Siere Brow to prevent pain was simple — just apply numbing cream and lie down for about 15 minutes!

They check your sensation level periodically, and if you need more time lying there, they give you more — so there's nothing to worry about.

Once the procedure started, it felt like a light poking sensation from the needle! The owner let me know beforehand which way she'd be turning my head and how long the procedure would take. She said I could sleep during it, and I really was drowsy, so I slept soundly.

And when I woke up, my eyebrows were already done lol. Since she drew the guide first and kept checking in and letting me make adjustments, there's really nothing to worry about shape-wise.

While I was lying there, she covered me with a blanket and I kept a mask on the whole time, so it felt really reassuring. She sets the guide so carefully that I ended up falling into a deep sleep, that's how relaxed I felt.

What aftercare does Siere Brow send you home with?

For aftercare, they gave me pain-relief ointment and even a snack, along with written instructions for what to watch out for.

From right after the procedure to how to take care of it at home, they explained everything so thoroughly that I had zero confusion or worries once I got home.

Right after the tattoo and how the brows looked the next day

My brows used to be so faint, but once they were filled in so prettily, everyone at the appointment I went to right after noticed how different I looked. Even my brother and friends at home, who couldn't say exactly what changed, kept saying I looked so different — it made me realize eyebrows really are essential to looking pretty.

Usually with eyebrow tattoos, since it is a tattoo, you'd expect to be more nervous, but the owner's own brows were so pretty that I figured she clearly has a great sense of style, so I wasn't worried at all!
