Suwon Haenggung-dong yogurt café: dessert size (S) bowl, Grid in Greek
In short
Grid in Greek is a Greek yogurt bowl café near Banghwasuryujeong in Haenggung-dong, Suwon. On a solo weekday morning visit, the autumn fig Greek yogurt bowl came in the dessert size (S), and the thick, barely tart yogurt with giant blueberries and pistachio granola was finished off even without much of an appetite. With about five tables for one or two people, Grid in Greek is an easy stop on a solo meal or walking route through Haenggung-dong.

The weather's been so nice lately that I wanted to go to Haenggung-dong for a walk and brunch.
This time I went to "Grid in Greek" in Haenggung-dong for a simple brunch~! It had fig, the fruit of the season in autumn, prettily topped on the bowl, and this place was already famous for Greek yogurt. This is my review after visiting Grid in Greek and taking a walk around Banghwasuryujeong in Haenggung-dong~~!

Where is Grid in Greek in Haenggung-dong, and what are the hours?

Grid in Greek menu: seasonal fruit Greek yogurt bowls and sandwiches

In autumn they serve Greek yogurt bowls topped with seasonal fruit like fig and hongsi (ripe persimmon), and in spring, strawberries.

They also have sandwiches~! I couldn't try one since I went alone, but there are a lot of reviews saying they're delicious, so next time I want to just get a sandwich! The ingredients look healthy and not too heavy, so it seems good for people on a diet too.
Besides the seasonal Greek yogurt, there are several other types of Greek yogurt bowls. Choco banana Greek sounds delicious...

Granola for sale on one side of the counter. My Greek yogurt also had granola in it, and it wasn't hard or too sweet, so it was really good. I feel like I'd come back just to buy this haha.

They also have mini honey sticks that are easy to eat. It's nice that they sell the toppings you'd need for Greek yogurt too 🤍
Inside Grid in Greek: is the seating comfortable for one person?

The taste is proven by so many reviews! Haha, maybe it's called "grid" because they're stuck up in a grid pattern?

The service bar has water, spoons, forks, napkins, and straws. Once you get your order, you grab these yourself~~

The interior isn't big, but it had a clean, wood-toned feel overall. There were about 5 tables for 1–2 people. It's not an intimidating atmosphere to visit alone!

I went alone on a weekday~! Since it was a weekday morning, I was the only one there haha. But delivery orders seemed to keep coming in.
Tasting the fig Greek yogurt bowl in dessert size (S)

Ta-da~ here's the dish haha. So pretty, right?! I'd eaten breakfast early that day, so I ordered the dessert size (S)~!

The fig and blueberries were super fresh, and there was a generous drizzle of honey.

A hearty scoop of Greek yogurt right in the center too 🤍 I had the dessert size that day, but there's also a meal size (M), so you can order it as an actual meal.

You could also choose the type of granola, and I went with the basic option! There was also a generous topping of pistachio on top of the granola.

The Greek yogurt had a moist, thick(?) texture, so it went down smoothly and wasn't sour, which I liked. Actually, I always make my own Greek yogurt at home so I never run out. This one was less sour than my homemade version and somehow even more delicious,,,

My first bite was with granola, and since the granola wasn't hard or too big to feel heavy, it was great for texture, and the pistachio was nutty, so the flavor balance was really good. Good good.
Another bite with fig on top 🥄

And another bite with the giant blueberries haha. The blueberries were huge and plump, so you could really feel the flesh of the fruit — delicious. 🫐🫐🫐

It's tasty even just with granola haha. Eating it bite by bite like this...

I cleaned the whole bowl. The coffee was tasty too, so the Greek yogurt went down easily haha. I wasn't even hungry that day so I'd ordered the dessert size, but it was so good I finished it all haha.

The fig Greek yogurt bowl is a seasonal fruit you can only get around this time in early autumn, so I highly recommend it~! The mini calendar even had photos of the seasonal signature menus, so sentimental 🍂

Who should visit Grid in Greek in Suwon?
"Grid in Greek" seemed really good for going alone without feeling awkward, and for stopping by lightly while walking or running around Haenggung-dong. In summer peach season, they apparently sell a Greek momo (peach) bowl too. I'll have to visit again next year during peach season~!!🍑
The weather was so clear and nice on the day I visited that I even did a lap around Banghwasuryujeong afterward 😁
