It's fig season right now so my Instagram feed was full of nothing but fig desserts, and among them the one I overwhelmingly wanted to eat was Dance Dance Dance's fig baguette 🥹 The moment we opened the box, my friend and I gasped and got ready to devour it like Gi-young eating a banana.

Dance Dance Dance's fall-season-only, popular fig pistachio baguette combines perfectly ripe sweet fresh figs with pistachio cream plus crushed pistachio pieces — pure gorgeousness ✨

It's packed with nutty, rich cream cheese, and apparently it's tofu cream cheese?! The nuttiness and richness were so convincing you'd never believe it was tofu — the flavor was incredible, and with a generous amount of pistachio cream cheese plus fig jam packed inside too, it doesn't feel like a waste of money and makes you want to buy it again.

The combination of fresh, sweet fig with a baguette that's crispy outside and chewy inside felt like eating a luxurious dessert :) The gorgeous cross-section, where the moistness of fresh fig and the nuttiness of pistachio peek out between the crispy layers of the baguette, is simply GOAT 🤍

Fig vs Dubai pistachio baguette: which one wins?

I was thinking of ordering one as a meal bread, but since I'm still on the Dubai chocolate train, I ordered the Dubai pistachio baguette too ✨ Crispy kadayif and a nutty, rich pistachio spread made of tofu cream cheese were packed generously between the baguette, and the crunchy bite was really good. Normally I'd be losing my mind over Dubai flavors even more, but this day the fig pistachio baguette won by a landslide!

I'll be back to try both the fall-season fig line and the chocolate baguettes :) Dance Dance Dance, this Hannam-dong spot to visit and sandwich hotspot, fully satisfied me with baguettes that are crispy outside, soft inside, nutty, and packed with unusual, rich ingredient combinations you don't often see.
