Baedagol Bakery House in Goyang: busy even at 3pm on a weekday
Baedagol Bakery House is a large bakery café on Hoguk-ro 1121beon-gil in Deokyang-gu, Goyang. I went alone on a weekday at 3pm and it was still really crowded. The bread was delicious, the coffee was delicious, and I felt the prices were reasonable.
Isn't the weather really amazing lately? Whenever I look at the sky, I don't want to stay home. On nice days, I always go to a café at least by myself. Since I'm going anyway, having coffee in a place with good vibes feels like healing :-)
Baedagol Bakery House, which I visited this time, was really packed even though it was a weekday. I could tell it's a popular spot. I went because I couldn't just sit still on such a nice day, and I came back a thousand percent satisfied. I'm definitely going again :-) My friends would like it too.
How spacious is Baedagol Bakery House? Indoor seats and the outdoor garden
Still, the space was so large that there were seats available. Since the weather was nice, a lot of people had claimed spots outside too. Most of them were older folks.
These days it seems like a lot of people in their 50s, 60s, and beyond go to cafés. Honestly, once the kids are raised, that might be the most relaxed age group :-) Watching my mom, having a meal with friends and then coffee — that's the standard course.
I felt both the coffee and the bread were reasonably priced. Personally I had a bit of a bias that large cafés are just overpriced. But Baedagol Bakery House had reasonable prices, and there were lots of discounts too.

The weather was truly gorgeous. It was like this on the day I went. Just looking at the sky was enough to melt away every bit of stress — pure healing. Green, blue, all sorts of colors :-) It was a day that was a feast for the eyes.
There are a lot of large cafés in Goyang. Baedagol Bakery House is one of them. That means it can hold a lot of people and has a wide variety of delicious baked goods. By the way, even I, who doesn't know much about coffee, found the coffee delicious.

One good thing about having run a blog for a long time is that I get to check out places before I know much about them. Doing this, I've ended up becoming a regular at some spots :-) Blogging has become both a hobby and part of my daily life, and thanks to it, I get to visit a lot of great places.

Chestnut bread, cake and the bread selection at Baedagol Bakery House
I picked out a few breads and a cake at Baedagol Bakery House and they were delicious. The chestnut bread especially was great, so definitely try it.
This is roughly how much bread I bought. I also picked up a cake, and it was tasty. Oh, and the chestnut bread is delicious — you have to try it.

There's quite a variety, right? I think the prices are reasonable too. These days some large cafés even charge ₩10,000 for coffee, so I felt this place had really good value for money.

The 10% friend-add discount and photo review event at Baedagol Bakery House
Baedagol Bakery House had several services for customers. A photo review event and a 10% discount for adding the store as a friend were both running.
All these customer services are honestly touching. Make sure to join the photo review event — I always jump on things like this if they're available :-) There was also a discount event running where adding the store as a friend gets you 10% off. Definitely add them as a friend and grab the discount :-) Haha.

The best photo-zone seat in the café
The view is so pretty here, right? This spot is the prime seat. Haha, the table might be a little uncomfortable, but this seems to be the photo zone :-)

Can you bring kids? A kids-care zone, not a no-kids zone
Baedagol Bakery House isn't a no-kids zone — it's a kids-care zone. You can bring your child, but parents absolutely need to look after them.
Actually, an acquaintance of mine ran a café, and there really were a lot of parents who didn't watch their kids at all. Since kids can get hurt, I hope everyone really does keep an eye on them.

I'm not a huge fan of bread, but at this Goyang café, the bread wasn't too sweet, which suited my taste well. You can also pack up any leftover bread to take home :-)

Good for working alone, and for a visit with parents
Baedagol Bakery House had delicious coffee and comfortable table seating too. I thought it would also be great to bring older relatives, since older folks tend to enjoy cafés with pretty interiors too.

The weather was healing, the coffee was delicious, and time flew by while I worked :-) On nice days, don't just stay home — go to a pretty café and have a cup of coffee. That's healing too.
