Parking, Naver reservations and the menu board out front

Moshi Moshi Dongnae is in the food court on the 8th floor of the Lotte Department Store! Being inside the department store makes it easy to stop by before or after shopping or a movie, and it's walkable from both Myeongnyun Station and Dongnae Station, so accessibility is great. 🅿️ You can register for free parking when using the Lotte Department Store parking lot! Honestly, easy parking is the best part.

They take both phone reservations and Naver reservations, so we booked easily through Naver reservation before visiting.

There's a simple menu posted right outside the restaurant, which is nice! Everything looks delicious... it's a popular spot near Myeongnyun Station that's also great for a quick lunch.
Inside Moshi Moshi Sushi: bar seats, partitioned room and high chairs

The interior was modern and clean. It has a cozy, unpretentious vibe — even solo diners were eating comfortably. Even though it was near closing time there were still people eating so I couldn't photograph the whole space, but there were 2-seat and 4-seat tables, as well as group seating for 6 or more.

The innermost area is separated by a partition into a room-like space for a bit more privacy, and it seems a lot of people use it for family meals or small gatherings.

There were also bar seats, which are best for solo diners,

and from there you can watch the chef making sushi like this.

They also have high chairs, and I checked the country-of-origin labeling too! Moshi Moshi Dongnae has an excellent food hygiene grade, which makes it feel even more trustworthy ദിᐢ. ̫.ᐢ₎
What's on the menu and the Naver review event

We went with Set 1 from the two-person set menus, which includes a rice bowl. < 16pc sushi + rice bowl + choice of noodles (soba selected) > There's also a la carte sushi, assorted sushi, single-plate meals, set sashimi, salad, tempura, noodle dishes, and more — the menu is so varied that it took us a while to decide. Since there seem to be a lot of families with kids, they also have a kids' sushi and pork cutlet menu.

They're also running a Naver receipt review event, so write a review and get free shrimp sushi!
Eating Set 1, the two-person sushi set

The basic table setting comes with salad, pickled radish • rakkyo • ginger, and a tofu salad with miso soup. That sesame dressing drizzled on the tofu salad was especially savory and delicious...

Each table has soy sauce and a little dish, and I noticed the soy sauce bottle had the date it was portioned out and its expiration date written right on it! Little details like this make me trust the restaurant even more ₍ᐢ. ̫.ᐢ₎⊹
What's in the 16-piece sushi plate

First up, the 16-piece sushi! It came generously loaded with eel, shrimp, beef tartare, abalone, soy-marinated shrimp, tuna, flounder, salmon, and more.

When ordering, you can choose 'good' or 'better' sushi — the portion is the same, but the toppings differ. We just ordered the basic option and still got fresh, delicious sushi.

The rice portion and the thickness of the sashimi were great, and the shrimp and abalone were plump — the quality exceeded expectations. The flounder was especially chewy and my favorite ( ʚ̴̶̷̆ωʚ̴̶̷̆ )
Choosing cold soba as the noodle dish

I was craving something cool today so I picked the cold soba, and it was a great choice. The portion of noodles was generous too, so I got really full...
Dipping the soba into the broth with floating ice chips, adding a bit of wasabi to taste, was pure bliss — cool and clean, and it really pairs well with sushi.
The hot stone rice bowl

Next up, the rice bowl piled high with flying fish roe. Mixing it up while the hot stone bowl is still warm is absolute heaven...

The popping flying fish roe and seaweed stem bits gave it good texture throughout. Even when I was already full, I kept eating this magical rice bowl...
