Where is FLU:ET in Sajik-dong, Busan?
FLU:ET is a choux and fruit syrup dessert shop at 54 Sajik-ro 70beon-gil, 1F, Dongnae-gu, Busan, near Sajik Stadium. It's open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm, closed Sundays, and there's no parking.

Today I visited FLU:ET, a well-known dessert spot in Sajik-dong near Sajik Stadium. The clean exterior and the eye-catching sign font really won me over.

Closed on Sundays.

FLU:ET says they use French cream and New Zealand butter! Just looking at the picture made everything look so delicious. Let's head inside.
As soon as I walked in, I loved this cozy, aesthetic space. Natural light was pouring in, which made the mood even better.

The shop isn't big, so little touches like a small potted plant really stand out. I'll be rooting for the owner's success too, haha.
Ah! There was even a nostalgic ppopgi (candy game) machine, but I got so caught up taking photos I forgot to try it (what a shame!). If you meet the purchase condition, definitely give it a go.
Which fruit syrups does FLU:ET sell?

FLU:ET's fruit syrups (cheong) come in four flavors — strawberry, passionfruit, tomato basil, and orange grapefruit — made healthily with no preservatives, no synthetic additives, no coloring, and xylitol sugar instead. Because of that, check the expiration date on the label before opening, and consume quickly once opened.

They also shared tips on enjoying the syrups and different ways to use them. Honestly I only ever thought of mixing syrup into water or sparkling water, but apparently drizzling it over yogurt, ice cream, or pancakes looks great and tastes amazing too.
FLU:ET choux flavors and how to store them

FLU:ET's cream choux come in five flavors — plain, tiramisu, cream cheese apple, Earl Grey, and Boseong matcha. Keep them refrigerated and eat them the same day if possible. If you can't finish them the same day, they recommend freezing and thawing naturally at room temperature.

The weather was so nice I barely resisted eating one on the walk home, haha. The shopping bag was also clean and simple, great for gifting!

If they were just wrapped in parchment or paper, cream would smudge and things would get messy. Since each one is individually packed in a container, there's much less risk of them getting crushed or spilling. Perfect as a ₩10,000–20,000 gift.
Tiramisu choux

The tiramisu choux I opened as soon as I got home, out of curiosity. Crisp on the outside, truly soft inside — the top is packed with sweet mascarpone cream cheese, and the bottom holds a coffee cream base. The slightly bitter cocoa powder dusted on top meets the mascarpone cream cheese for a well-balanced flavor! Of course, an Americano is the perfect match for tiramisu.
Boseong matcha choux
This one's the Boseong matcha choux! Just from the cross-section shot, the color is gorgeous 👍 and it's packed with matcha cream all the way through. As a matcha lover who orders any matcha or green tea item on sight, this matcha choux had a mild flavor even people who find matcha overwhelming could enjoy.
You can taste the matcha, but it never crosses into overly bitter territory — beginners to matcha can enjoy it too! The matcha blends into the cream so it's not overly sweet or heavy, and you won't get tired of it.
Plain choux: can you freeze it and thaw it at room temperature?

The classic. This is the plain choux. Wherever I go, I always buy the basic bread (these days it's salt bread), and this choux gives off that same vibe. I wondered if it would still taste good frozen and thawed, so I tried the frozen version.
Ah... but the owner didn't let me down. I thought the cookie-like exterior would go soggy when frozen, but it stayed crisp. 👍👍 It wasn't the typical yellow custard cream you'd expect in a choux — instead it was more like a milk or fresh cream flavor, which actually made it even better to give to my kid.

And freezing it made the size of the choux and the amount of cream even more visible! I cut it in half and could barely hold it with one hand while taking the photo. It's about the size of an adult woman's fist, completely packed with cream. My kid loved it frozen, calling it ice cream.
Earl Grey choux

I really love Earl Grey cake (honestly, is there a flavor I don't like...), so of course I ordered the Earl Grey choux too. This one was also frozen and then naturally thawed like the plain one. With Earl Grey, the first bite had a hint of sweetness. Maybe the outer cookie shell was made sweeter? (just guessing) That sweetness paired well with the subtle black tea aroma, making it even more delicious (hope that's what the owner intended).

This one also has no shortage of cream! It's not overly sweet, so you can enjoy the fragrant flavor without getting tired of it.
Verdict: which FLU:ET choux should you order?

- If you have kids, go with the plain choux
- If you want something to pair with coffee, the tiramisu choux
- If you're a matcha lover, the matcha choux
- And for me, the Earl Grey choux ❤️
