Blue Ribbon bulgogi lunch set for two in Incheon: Dongchuwon Bulgogi

In short

Dongchuwon Bulgogi is a Seoul-style Korean beef bulgogi restaurant near Singi Market in Hagik-dong, Michuhol, Incheon, run by a certified meat master and Blue Ribbon-rated from 2022 through 2026. Two people shared the 27,900 won Korean beef bulgogi set, which came with brass-pan broth shabu-shabu, a DIY bulgogi burger, both cold noodle styles, and ice cream from the dessert corner. The omija tea included in the set never arrived during the busy lunch rush, but Dongchuwon Bulgogi is worth a return visit.

The interior was really spacious and pleasant. Perfect for Incheon family gatherings or group meetups~! 😊

True to a Hagik-dong favorite loved for over 10 years, customers kept streaming in, and by lunchtime the dining room was completely full‼️

It was convenient having a self-service corner where you can freely grab extra side dishes. Pickled onions, kimchi, seasoned radish, onions — all side dishes that go perfectly with bulgogi><

Side dishes served with the Korean beef bulgogi set

Side dishes were set out — salad, pickled onions, seasoned radish, kimchi, pickled vegetables — and each one had clean, not-too-strong seasoning. 🤤

Plate of pickled onions, seasoned radish, kimchi, and other side dishes

The staff poured bulgogi broth around the edge of the brass pan, and the clear, deep broth was so delicious. 🤤

Each table had detailed instructions on how to enjoy old-style bulgogi. 🍀

Finally, today's main dish, Korean beef bulgogi, arrived piled high in a fancy brass bowl — the look alone guaranteed deliciousness..!! ❤️

The portion was generous, and the vivid red color made it obvious they only use top-grade Korean beef.

How to eat Seoul-style bulgogi with broth in a brass pan

Fresh vegetables to go with the bulgogi and morning rolls for making a bulgogi burger came out too. 🥯

The staff put the meat on the grill and kindly explained tips for enjoying it. 🥩

The style: lightly cook the meat in the center of the pan, then dip it and various vegetables into the broth along the rim, shabu-shabu style!

You get the savory taste of grilled meat and the moist texture of shabu-shabu at the same time — a real specialty! ⭐ This soupy Seoul-style bulgogi~!

The flavor of the broth and vegetables soaks into the bulgogi, giving it a glossy, perfect look! 🤤🤤🤤

The meat was really soft and tender, melting in my mouth the moment I ate it. Personally, wrapping bulgogi with shredded scallions is the Best combination!! 💯

The sauce isn't too sweet or intense — a savory, umami-rich seasoning well soaked into the meat, perfect for anyone from kids to adults to enjoy without complaint! 👍🏻

Bulgogi and vegetables cooked in the broth

Paired with the delicious side dishes and the moist bulgogi, I kept eating endlessly. This was the most luxurious-tasting bulgogi I've ever had.

Bulgogi pan with white wood ear mushroom, sweet pumpkin, and other vegetables

Loaded with vegetables like white wood ear mushroom, sweet pumpkin, enoki mushroom, and bok choy, it's a perfect healthy meal with both flavor and nutrition‼️

Putting bulgogi on white rice is a rice thief! Bulgogi really is the best side dish for rice~!

The broth, rich from the vegetables and Korean beef simmered together, was amazing poured over rice and eaten with the meat.

Building your own bulgogi burger at the table

Another specialty of Dongchuwon Bulgogi, a Hagik-dong favorite! It's the self-made bulgogi burger you build to your taste~! 🥯

Split the morning roll in half, spread on sauce, and pile on plenty of savory shredded cheese, then

Finished self-made bulgogi burger

Add plenty of warm, moist meat and shredded scallions, and you've got a burger tastier than most gourmet burgers!

Cold noodles included in the set: mul naengmyeon and bibim naengmyeon

Eating all this delicious meat naturally makes you crave cold noodles, and since the bulgogi set includes naengmyeon (cold noodles), the value and satisfaction are top-notch!

Water naengmyeon included in the set

The water naengmyeon topped with floating ice slush was really delicious, and best of all the noodles were cooked chewy and springy — exactly my taste!

Bibim naengmyeon topped with sweet-and-spicy sauce

The bibim naengmyeon topped with plenty of sweet-and-spicy sauce was also a specialty among specialties! Wrapping it with bulgogi is a perfect combination><

One disappointment: the missing omija tea

The set menu is originally supposed to include omija (schisandra berry) tea as a dessert, but unfortunately it was missed that day, probably because it was so busy with customers. 🥲 Still, from the delicious Korean beef bulgogi to the self-made bulgogi burger, naengmyeon, and ice cream, we enjoyed everything so perfectly that I'd want to come back 10000%‼️
