Between all the childcare, my eyes had gone totally dead-fish 👩‍🍼 so I wanted to bring some sparkle back into them ✨️ I went looking for a good place to get a lash lift in Dongtan 🧚‍♀️

Moodmoa Lash & Brow (무드모아 래쉬&브로우) is a lash and brow studio at 8 Dongtanbansong-gil, 1st floor #104, Dongtan-gu, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. Hours are Monday–Friday 10:00–20:00, closed Saturday and Sunday, and also closed September 24–26 for Chuseok.

Heavy lids and droopy lashes: which treatments I booked

This time at Moodmoa Lash & Brow I got a lash lift (bling perm) and brow waxing. My eyelashes barely show because of my heavy lids... and my eyebrows had all these stray hairs sticking out everywhere 😂 No matter how hard I tried with makeup, nothing ever looked clean, so I got both done together!

The moment I walked into Moodmoa Lash & Brow, I noticed how clean and cute it was ☺️🩷🧡🤍 Everything was well organized, so I could get the treatment in a comfortable atmosphere!

Before the treatment, the stylist asked in detail about the look I wanted and carefully analyzed my eye shape to figure out the most natural, well-fitting lash design for me — I really loved how thorough the explanation was ♡

For the lash lift especially, they said they also run a nutrition and moisture clinic alongside it, which improves how well the curl sets and minimizes damage to the lashes 😉👍 Just from the explanation alone, I could tell the difference from other places I'd been to before! I felt like I could trust my lashes to them 😌💗

There was even a thoughtful little leg pillow, so I could get the treatment comfortably ☺️

Bling perm lash lift before and after

First up was the lash lift (bling perm) ✨️ Because of my heavy eyelids, my lashes usually droop right down, so even with a lash curler they'd fall flat again in no time — a total mess 🥲 At a place I went to before, they curled my lashes at a sharp right angle... which was disappointing, so I was nervous about how this would turn out 💓 Sorry for the super close-up shot 😅

I wanted something naturally defined rather than overly curled-up, and the result was a total win 💕

With my lashes lifted up, my eyes looked way more defined, and my eyes looked bright even without much makeup 👀✨️

How the brow waxing at Moodmoa Lash & Brow works

For brow waxing, the stylist starts by designing the brow shape. My brow heads were short and hairs were sticking out everywhere ><ㅋㅋㅋ The two brows were totally asymmetric, so she matched them to whichever side had the prettier shape, and mentioned that brow waxing works best with repeat visits so the shape settles over time 😉

After the brow waxing, she applied a soothing pack, and once that calmed down, it was done 🥰

With the area around my brows cleaned up, my whole expression really felt different ✨️ The brow shape was styled naturally too, so it was neat without looking artificial at all ☺️

Is the bling perm + brow waxing set worth it?

What I loved most was how comfortable the whole treatment felt, and how thorough they were from start to finish — I was satisfied the entire way through 🥰💕 After the lash lift, my morning eye makeup got so much easier, and with the brow waxing added on, I spend way less time drawing my brows too 👍
