We wanted to really go all out for Friday night, but where do you even go? Married folks just hang around the neighborhood lol. My husband said he'd been craving gopchang, so we met up at Ilmigop after work. But there was a wait, ugh....

After about a 20-minute wait, we finally got into Ilmigop

We kept saying 'let's go, let's go' forever and only now made it here haha. Had no idea it was this popular, ugh

Inside Ilmigop: the room and how close the tables sit

Ilmigop's interior is super clean and pleasant for a gopchang restaurant, haha (the bathroom's clean too!). Not sure if it's just a Friday thing or it's always this popular, but there were a lot of people and a long wait, whoa

What we ordered: gopchang for two and free sundubu jjigae

We thought about trying something new but ended up ordering our usual. We're only doing gopchang again today

Ahh, the best, seriously the best. Packed full of gop (intestine fat), zero funky smell, not chewy at all, so soft, it was insane. The chive seasoning wasn't too salty or too sweet, absolutely perfect combo! On this tiring Friday, both my husband and I

finished it all without saying a word, ugh lol (seriously, gone in seconds). Gopchang really is soul food, hah...

Fried rice for 4,900 won, enough for 1.5 people

Let's add fried rice~~ ₩4,900. What is this visual!! A total protein-bomb fried rice? We just ordered one fried rice, and they piled on that much egg — amazing, amazing!!

They turn on the burner, and once the egg's almost fully cooked, they mix everything together for you and tell you to eat it then. We thought it seemed a bit pricey for fried rice, but the portion is huge — like 1.5 servings, whoa. Went crazy

The seasoned danmuji (pickled radish) that came with it paired so well too haha. No diet again today lol, whatever, haha

The fried rice portion is seriously huge, so we said let's not mindlessly finish it all... but... one-shot ending, whoa, wow

On the way out, a quick mirror check as usual, plus there's even a Febreze spray to get rid of gopchang smell! Perfect!!

There are plenty of gopchang restaurants in Anyang, but if you want 💕 beef gopchang that's packed with intestine fat, not chewy, and 💕 has no bad smell, this is a total recommendation! 😋 The restaurant is clean and 😋 the tables have plenty of space, so it was comfortable to eat there. Plus with 👍 free parking and a clean bathroom, it'd be great for gopchang-loving people of all ages lol 👍 Let's come again next time~~
