The dark, calm lighting gave it a quiet, comfortable atmosphere, and the staff kindly showed us to our seats.
The restaurant is fairly spacious, so it never felt cramped, and the seats were spaced out enough for a comfortable meal. The sauce had the deep, heavy tartness distinctive of black vinegar with added sweetness, giving it a savory depth without being too sharp. It leaned more toward heavy and sweet than sour, so even those who find tangy sauces overwhelming should find this comfortable to enjoy.
The tenderloin was cut thick and fried, giving each piece real presence, and the batter kept its just-fried crispiness even after some time had passed, without going soggy. With thick meat, crispy batter, and a rich, sweet black vinegar sauce all working together, this tangsuyuk was very satisfying.
