Today I'm bringing you an honest review of a new spot near IFC Mall and Yeouido Station where I went for a light, healthy lunch — Singsing Salad Yeouido Branch 🥗

A brand-new salad spot on the first floor of Baeksang Building, Yeouido Station, opened in July

I'm usually on the hunt for good brunch spots or light poke places anyway! With the nice weather lately and wanting to eat a bit lighter, I went for a salad date at lunch with a friend!

Walk into Baeksang Building in Yeouido and on the left you'll immediately spot Singsing Salad, greeted by a cute smiley character. Since it's a piping-hot new store that opened in July, the whole place was really clean and tidy!

A ₩10,900 lunch near Yeouido — the lunch special banner was a welcome sight

The first thing that caught my eye at the entrance, and made me genuinely happy, was this lunch special banner! Considering how pricey lunch can be for Yeouido office workers, being able to enjoy a different best menu every day for a wallet-friendly ₩10,900 was such a relief. Also — write a receipt review and you get free coffee!

You can order easily at the kiosk in front of the store, and if the kiosk feels tricky, staff at the counter will kindly help you order directly. The kitchen is also an open kitchen, so you can see the hygienic cooking process at a glance, which made me feel even more at ease eating there ✨

4. Recommended for Han River Park picnic takeout 🧺

You can eat in the store, but the packaging is also really neat, so a lot of people come for delivery pickup too. Han River Park in Yeouido is nearby, so it's perfect to pack up for a picnic. Usually when people head to the Han River they end up eating heavy stuff like fried chicken or tteokbokki, but calling ahead or ordering through the app to bring this along instead sounds light and lovely!

Oh, and next to the water dispenser there was a thoughtful little bowl of candy! My friend grabbed one, said it was delicious, then grabbed another one haha. So cute lol. Once you're done eating, just return your dishes to the Return spot next to the water dispenser!

Seating for solo diners too, plus the daily lunch special menus

Inside the store, there are cute one- and two-person tables well set up for solo diners! Since we came as two, we asked for and got an extra bowl to split different menu items and share haha.

• Wednesday: miso pork belly salad rice bowl
• Thursday: chicken leg salad rice bowl
• Friday: smoked duck salad rice bowl

It runs generously until 2 PM, so if you're visiting around lunchtime, be sure to grab the lunch special! Fresh vegetables paired with hearty protein — it's the kind of combo you don't get sick of, perfect for eating every day.

The avocado salmon poke and baek-kimchi combo

🥑 Avocado salmon poke — I'm not usually someone who seeks out poke, but this one was genuinely filling and delicious! There's a cute fried egg on top — pop the yolk and mix it all up with the fresh salmon, avocado, and rice, and the carb-protein balance was on point 👍

The baek-kimchi (white kimchi) that comes as a basic side dish was also so good! Pickled sides usually pair well with salad or poke, and this baek-kimchi was perfect as a palate cleanser — it felt so refreshing.

My friend's pick: the basil pasta salad

🍝 Basil pasta salad — my friend wanted something noodle-based, so this is what she picked! The fragrant basil pesto, fresh vegetables, and dressing came together really well, and she savored it slowly, eating it up happily lol. She said the whole time she was eating it, she genuinely felt healthier!
