The cakes were honestly so pretty that I couldn't stop staring into the showcase ^^ Looking at all the beautifully varied cakes just made me so happy ㅇㅅㅇ

Which cakes are in the Sijeunikeu showcase?
Sijeunikeu cakes use seasonal fruit! When we visited, the showcase had fig, mango, and peach cakes, all looking gorgeous and lined up in various sizes^^

Looks delicious just to look at, right? Made and sold same day, so the freshness has to be top-notch, right?

Let's take a look at the menu? Such a variety of fresh cakes, so many!

The small size for two: peach cream Basque cake, 29,000 won
What we ordered was the Sijeunikeu peach cream Basque cake, ₩29,000! Since it was just the two of us, we went for a small size we could eat right away instead of a big cake >.<

Apparently the mango cake uses mangoes ripened for 170 hours, so the sweetness must be something else :) I'm thinking I should try the mango one next time ㅋㅋ

Insulated bag, candles and allergy info at Sijeunikeu
The insulated bag costs an extra ₩2,000 :) It's a good option when the weather's hot, or when you're not eating it right away and giving it as a gift. If you have any food allergies, please be sure to tell the staff ^^

Since Sijeunikeu cakes are made only with fresh fruit in season, it really inspires trust~ You can feel the freshness just from looking at the showcase!

The cakes really look so appetizing~ There's this glossy shine to the cakes that just pops ^.^ There were different boxes prepared depending on the type of cake~

It's so pretty that I ended up staring at the showcase for a while without realizing it~

Cakes can't be exchanged or refunded, so you need to choose carefully~ * If you're buying a gift, keep your eyes wide open and pick well^^

It's peach season right now! And since I happen to love peaches, my eyes went straight to the peach cake, no questions asked :) They also sold candles separately, in case you need some, you can just buy them there!

The packaging was very thorough! Just tell them how many candles you need~ They also put an ice pack inside the cake box for you ^^

How did the peach cream Basque cake taste?
The Sijeunikeu peach cream Basque cake is a cake absolutely piled high with peaches. Looks so pretty, right? I love peaches, so it completely caught my eye :)

The peach cream Basque cake has a light dusting of gold powder too, so pretty pretty! The peach flesh was seriously no joke ^^ Totally delicious, delicious~ A cake that treats both your eyes and your mouth

The sheet is so soft and moist, it just melts away, and the peach's freshness floods in on top~ Plus the softness of the cream and the flavor of the Basque cheese.
The cake wasn't too sweet either, so I really loved it! I love peaches so much, and this cake was completely packed with them, giving it an unusual freshness :)
For a birthday, an anniversary, a day you're craving dessert, or a day you just want to recharge on sugar without guilt, why not try a Sijeunikeu cake?!
