Anyang gopchang restaurant with parking and daechang: Ilmigop

In short

Ilmigop is a gopchang (grilled beef intestine) and daechang (grilled large intestine) restaurant on the first floor of the Bisan Hanshin the Hue commercial building in Bisan-dong, Anyang. With a weekday 5–7pm Naver reservation, Ilmigop served a complimentary woo samgyeop (thin-sliced beef belly), and the order was one assorted gopchang, one daechang and one fried rice, plus a free sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew). Parking in the building's own lot made driving easy, and Ilmigop suits anyone who wants to compare gopchang and daechang on the same table.

I'd been craving savory gopchang (grilled beef intestine) for a while, so I headed to Ilmigop in Bisan-dong, Anyang.

I ended up here while searching for a gopchang spot in Bisan-dong, and I got to properly enjoy gopchang, daechang, and fried rice too! Let's go 😎

  • Ilmigop's location and parking info
  • Naver reservation perks and menu
  • Trying the assorted gopchang and daechang
  • Final verdict after the fried rice too

Where is Ilmigop, and is there parking for drivers?

Ilmigop is on the first floor of the Bisan Hanshin the Hue commercial building in Bisan-dong, Anyang (114 & 116, 9 Bisan-ro, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do). Since I drove, being able to use the building's parking lot made things a lot easier.

It's also close to the apartment complexes in Bisan-dong, so it seemed like a great spot for people nearby to stop by for dinner ☺️

It's not too far from Beomgye either, so if you're usually looking for a gopchang restaurant around Beomgye, it might be worth widening your search to Bisan-dong 🤓

Naver reservation perk and the free sundubu jjigae at Ilmigop

If you're planning to visit Ilmigop, here's something worth checking. We made a Naver reservation for the weekday 5–7pm window.

That time slot came with a free serving of woo samgyeop (beef belly)! We only came for gopchang, but ended up with beef belly too — felt like we'd scored a win right from the start haha.

That said, Naver reservation events and perks can change depending on the season, so check the current offer on the reservation page before you go ☺️

And one more thing! Sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) comes free as a default. (We actually tried to order it separately, but the staff cancelled it since it comes complimentary 🥰) When you're eating something as rich as gopchang, you start craving a spicy broth partway through, so having the stew show up without ordering it was great to pair with the meal 🤟

Now let's look at the menu 😎

What we ordered at Ilmigop: assorted gopchang, daechang, fried rice

That day we ordered 🥩 1 assorted gopchang 🥩 1 daechang 🍚 1 fried rice ☺️ (with the beef belly and sundubu on top, I was seriously excited 🙄) The assorted gopchang lets you try several parts at once, and I added daechang separately since it's my favorite.

These little touches are the kind of thing that quietly boost your satisfaction when picking a gopchang restaurant in Anyang.

Gopchang vs. daechang at Ilmigop: how do they taste different?

Ilmigop's assorted gopchang stood out for its chewy texture and savory flavor, while the daechang I added separately was noticeably softer. And finally, today's main event arrives — the gopchang and daechang! 🤭

Watching the gopchang turn golden-brown on the grill, it's really hard to hold back haha.

Gopchang has that distinctive savory flavor and chewy bite that's fun to enjoy, while daechang is softer than gopchang and bursts with juice in your mouth! 🙄

Grilling the woo samgyeop we got from the Naver reservation alongside everything else made the spread even more varied than just eating gopchang the whole time.

And whenever it starts to feel a bit heavy, a spoonful of that sundubu jjigae from earlier!

Going back and forth between gopchang, daechang, beef belly, and sundubu jjigae, it turned out I could keep eating without getting tired of it haha.

(Also — the green onion kimchi and pickled onions are amazing... definitely eat them together ☺️) If you want to eat gopchang paradise in Anyang, you absolutely have to come to Ilmigop!!

Fried rice finish and the verdict on Ilmigop in Bisan-dong

You can't come to a gopchang restaurant and skip Korea's national dessert — fried rice, right? After finishing the assorted gopchang and daechang at Ilmigop, we finished up by ordering one fried rice ☺️

Even after eating gopchang until you're full, there always seems to be room left for fried rice haha. Eating meat and finishing with fried rice feels like properly wrapping up a meal! (K-dessert, indeed 🤟)

Fried rice ordered to finish the meal

This visit to Ilmigop turned out more filling than expected — not just the gopchang and daechang, but the free sundubu jjigae and the beef belly from the Naver reservation on top of it all.

If you're looking for a gopchang restaurant in Anyang or craving gopchang near Bisan-dong, definitely visit Ilmigop!! Especially if you've only ever looked around Beomgye for a gopchang restaurant, widen your search a bit and check out Ilmigop in Bisan-dong too 😄
