I've been looking for something simple but filling to eat lately, and I ended up at Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch in Jamsil. I like sandwiches and eat them pretty often, but this place felt a little different from your usual franchise sandwich shop, so I was curious haha.
If you especially like jambon-beurre or baguette sandwiches, this is somewhere worth checking out at least once, so I wanted to share it.

Where is Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, and its hours and parking
Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is on the 1st floor of 10 Olympic-ro 35ga-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It's an easy spot to reach from Jamsil, so it worked well when I was looking for a place to eat nearby.
It's open every day from 9 AM to 8 PM, and you can park at the Jamsil The Sharp Star Park underground lot. They offer 1 hour of parking support on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends, which is worth knowing if you're driving there.
Best of all, takeout, reservations, and delivery are all available, and there are separate restrooms for men and women, which made things convenient.
Seating and the open kitchen at Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch
Once inside, there were more seats than I expected. The space was kept clean overall and the atmosphere was relaxed, so it felt comfortable whether you're eating alone or with a friend.
What I especially liked was that the kitchen where they make the sandwiches is open!

You could naturally see staff preparing ingredients and making the sandwiches inside, which gave me more confidence in the food. With sandwiches, what ingredients are used and how cleanly things are handled really matters, right?
Being able to watch them get made right in front of you made me trust it even more :)

The prize draw you join when you buy a sandwich
When you buy a sandwich, you get to take part in a prize draw, and apparently the first prize is a coupon for a sandwich + drink + soup set.
It was kind of fun getting to join an event like this just from going to eat a sandwich. If you're planning a visit, it's worth checking out this kind of event too.

Menu options and the set I ordered in Jamsil
Also, Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch had way more sandwich varieties than I expected.
Alongside their signature baguette sandwich, there was apple jambon-beurre, the Town Sandwich, basil jambon-beurre, truffle jambon-beurre, cranberry jambon-beurre, plain jambon-beurre, grilled chicken bánh mì, Cajun chicken curry, egg mayo bánh mì, and Town egg sando, among other options. With about 10 menu items total, it seemed easy to pick something to suit your taste.
Out of everything, I was especially curious about the jambon-beurre!! I went with the basil jambon-beurre, cream soup, and nutty latte set.

How does the basil jambon-beurre baguette taste and feel?
Jambon-beurre (jambon, butter, and baguette) is a sandwich where jambon and butter go into a baguette, and personally I was a bit worried since I struggle with bread that's too hard or chewy.
But once I actually ate it, the bread wasn't as daunting as I expected. It was pleasantly crisp on the outside and soft inside, so it was easy to chew!

I especially liked that the bread wasn't too hard or chewy. It paired really well with the ingredients in the jambon-beurre, and it got tastier the more I ate. Crisp outside, moist and soft inside — I personally loved that texture!!

Dipping the baguette in the cream soup
Of course, the cream soup was really smooth and delicious too, so dipping a piece of baguette into it was amazing haha. The bread's texture on its own was great too. It matched well with the baguette's distinct nutty flavor, so it worked well as a full meal.
It's so generous and pretty, right hahaha. Every single vegetable was so fresh!!

Who Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch suits best
Overall, Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch serves simple sandwiches, but you can tell care went into the ingredients and the bread's texture.
With such a wide variety of sandwiches, it's easy to pick something that suits your taste, and since takeout and delivery are both available, it also seemed like a good option when you want to eat comfortably at home.

If you're in Jamsil and looking for something simple but filling during a busy stretch, or if you prefer baguette sandwiches and jambon-beurre over regular sandwiches, it's worth a visit. I was satisfied with what I tried this time, so next time I want to try the truffle jambon-beurre too :)
