I ordered a beer and they gave me salty peanuts to go with it, which I happily snacked on haha.

I ordered the special sirloin with an added tenderloin katsu and side curry.
The sirloin has a thick layer of fat attached that looks so delicious, with a gorgeous bright red color. The fat on the sirloin makes it insanely savory!!!! The tenderloin was so juicy and tender it's ridiculous haha — I think even elderly folks with weaker teeth could eat the tenderloin easily.
Rice with every grain separate, plus sharp, spicy curry
Solid basics — fluffy rice, spicy curry
When I eat katsu or samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly), the state of the white rice really matters to me, and at Pine Katsu the rice grains are all intact and glossy — so, so delicious haha.
The curry is spicy and sharp, and it cuts through the richness so well haha. I really love spicy food, and this place's curry hit exactly my taste.
How the katsu tastes dipped in curry with a beer
A very delicious meal
Savory sirloin, tender tenderloin — take a crispy bite and wash it down with beer, amazing. The curry's spiciness balances everything out so well.
I dipped the katsu in the curry and honestly, the flavor combo was the best haha.
The dessert candy at the end was such a nice touch too.
