Songpanaru Station restaurant with Lotte Tower view dinner: Allegro
In short
Allegro is a Western-style restaurant in Songpa, Seoul, a 3–4 minute walk from Songpanaru Station, where a Lotte Tower view comes with live jazz in the evening. The meal at Allegro was a citrus feta cheese salad (18,000 won), mushroom cream potato gnocchi (24,000 won) and a sous-vide pork neck steak (33,000 won), and the gnocchi in its thick cream sauce was the dish worth remembering. Allegro suits a date or a special dinner rather than a quick meal.

I visited Allegro, a restaurant in Jamsil's Bangi-dong that just opened on August 15. This is an Italian restaurant, but it's less a place to just go eat and more a place to have a meal with a view of Lotte Tower and, in the evening, catch a live jazz performance. It's close to Songpanaru Station and the atmosphere is pretty good, so it'd be a good reference for anyone looking for a date spot or anniversary dinner. Let me lay out what I ordered, prices, parking, and the jazz show times.
Where is Allegro in Songpa, Seoul?

Allegro is about 238m from Exit 2 of Songpanaru Station on Line 9. It's a 3–4 minute walk, so it wasn't hard to find from the station. It's on the 3rd floor of the building housing Glory Kalguksu, in the Bangi-dong restaurant alley. Using Songpanaru Station is much more convenient than walking from Jamsil Station.

- About 3–4 minute walk from Exit 2, Songpanaru Station
- 3rd floor of the Glory Kalguksu building
- Near the Bangi-dong restaurant alley
If you're looking for a restaurant near Songpanaru Station that's easy to reach by public transit, the location is pretty good.
Allegro's hours and parking

It's worth checking parking before you visit.
- Hours: 12:00–23:00
- Break time: 15:00–18:00
- Last order: 21:30
- Closed: every Tuesday
- Reservations: Catchtable, Naver Reservation
- Baby chair available
- Paid corkage available
Parking varies by time of day. The building's parking lot offers free valet parking for up to 3 cars at lunchtime only, and parking is difficult in the evening. If you're driving in the evening, it's easier to use a nearby paid lot. I checked Twoo Parking Songpa Yonsei branch, and it was ₩10,500 for 3 hours via the Modu Parking app. If you're planning to drive, it's worth double-checking the parking situation before booking.
What is the Lotte Tower view and jazz stage like?

Walking in, the overall vibe is modern and clean. But what really stands out here is the Lotte Tower view from the window seats. Lotte Tower is such a familiar sight in Jamsil, but seeing it while you eat feels different somehow.

In the evening the lights come on too, so it'd be great as a date spot.

There's a small performance stage set up in one corner of the restaurant. There's also a line-drawing frame of a jazz musician on the wall, giving it more of a music-and-dining space feel than a typical Italian restaurant. The tables are also arranged facing the stage.

So eating while watching a live jazz performance is basically the biggest draw of this place. So good ❤️
Allegro's terrace seats
Further inside there's also a terrace. With wood furniture and props, it has a different vibe from the indoor space. On a day that's not too hot or cold, sitting here with a glass of wine would be nice. Especially with the cool evenings we've been having lately, the terrace seats look pretty good.
Allegro's menu and prices

The menu ranges widely, from steak, pasta, and gnocchi to salads and sides.

There are also dishes that pair well with wine.

Here's what I ordered and the prices.
- Sous-vide pork neck steak ₩33,000
- Mushroom cream potato gnocchi ₩24,000
- Citrus feta cheese salad ₩18,000
If you're visiting with 2–3 people, it's a good setup for ordering a few dishes to share.
What we ordered at Allegro
Bread before the meal

A bit after ordering, bread arrived. It was warmed through and crisp on the outside. The inside was chewy with a subtle butter aroma, good enough to eat plain without any sauce. This pre-meal bread does the basics well.
Citrus feta cheese salad, 18,000 won
Citrus feta cheese salad, ₩18,000. With orange and grapefruit, it's quite refreshing. Granola adds crunch and the feta cheese brings a salty backbone. The dressing isn't heavy either, which made it easy to eat alongside the cream gnocchi and steak that came later.

When ordering several Italian dishes, it's nice to have one refreshing option like this.

Yum yum
Mushroom cream potato gnocchi, 24,000 won

Of everything I ate, this was the most memorable. Mushroom cream potato gnocchi, ₩24,000. The mushroom cream sauce is quite rich, and the potato gnocchi keeps a chewy texture.

It's topped with crispy-fried pancetta and parmesan cheese, and the pancetta's saltiness works well with the cream sauce.
The cream sauce is on the richer side, so this dish will suit people who love a heavy cream gnocchi more than those who prefer something lighter.

Personally, if I had to pick one thing to order again at Allegro, this would be it.
Sous-vide pork neck steak, 33,000 won
The main was the sous-vide pork neck steak, ₩33,000. It uses 300g of domestic pork neck.

Cooked sous-vide and then seared crisp on the outside, the surface had a pretty good crispy texture. Cut into thicker slices, the inside is moist and the pork retains a fair amount of its natural flavor.

Eating it with the peppercorn sauce deepens the flavor a bit more. The fries that come with it are fine plain, or dipped in the cream sauce.

Considering the price too, it's an easy steak dish to order without much hesitation.
Special dessert plate

After the meal, I requested the special dessert plate to mark the occasion. The crème brûlée has that fun of cracking the sugar coating on top, with a soft custard underneath. The brownie is fairly dense, and eating it with the whipped cream cuts the sweetness a bit. A nice light way to finish the meal.
Live jazz set times and show fee at Allegro
One of the biggest reasons to visit Allegro is the live jazz performance. Shows run in the evening.
- Set 1: 19:30–20:10
- Set 2: 20:25–21:05
- Each set runs 40 minutes
- One menu order per person required to watch
- Weekday ticket: ₩10,000 per person
- Fri–Sat ticket: ₩15,000 per person
It's worth checking the show schedule and lineup before you go. My visit didn't line up with a show time, so I just had the meal — next time I'll plan around the schedule. Eating Italian food while looking at the Lotte Tower night view, plus catching a jazz show, is definitely a combo more suited to a special occasion than a regular meal.
Is Allegro worth a visit for food and atmosphere?

On the food alone, Allegro is a restaurant with a wide range of Italian dishes. What sets it apart is the added Lotte Tower view and live jazz. It's especially convenient being close to Songpanaru Station, and a visit in the evening lets you enjoy the full atmosphere. Of what I tried, the mushroom cream potato gnocchi stood out most, and the sous-vide pork neck steak also had a good contrast between the crispy sear and the moist inside.

That said, this isn't really a place for a quick solo meal — it's more about enjoying the food, the space, and the show together. So it'll suit people looking for a Jamsil date restaurant or an anniversary dinner spot even better. If you're looking for a good-atmosphere Italian restaurant in Jamsil's Bangi-dong, give Allegro a try. It's a great pick for a day you want to enjoy a Lotte Tower view, Italian food, and live jazz all at once, rather than just a quick meal.
