Pocheon bakery café for strawberry latte dates: Geurine Oasis

My husband finally had some free time, so we went on a date in Pocheon for the first time in a while. We came here while looking for a café near Gwangneung Arboretum after our date there. It is a large Pocheon bakery café with a full view of Gomo Reservoir.

Where is this large Pocheon bakery café?

The moment I saw this large Pocheon bakery café, I thought the building was so pretty.

It is divided into a main building and an annex, and it has an almost European feel.

Geurine Oasis (그리네 오아시스) is about 10 minutes from Gwangneung Arboretum and just 1 minute from Gomo Reservoir, making it perfect for a date. There were plenty of parking spaces, too, so parking was easy.

There were plenty of other drinks, and the bakery items were high quality too.

What are the main building, annex, and terrace like?

This is the path between the main building and annex, and the atmosphere is unreal. It felt like walking into a fairy tale.

The main building has a fresh-feeling interior where white and green come together.

The wide floor-to-ceiling windows make it feel open, and they are wonderful for soaking up the sun on a nice day.

The annex is so pretty too that I kept taking photos.

It was neither hot nor cold that day, so more guests were sitting on the terrace than inside.

As a dog-friendly Pocheon café, it also has a spacious dog run, so it would be great to visit with your pup.

Coffee and bakery treats while looking at Gomo Reservoir~ The sweeping reservoir view made me feel completely refreshed inside.

The strawberry preserve latte was sweet and had such a rich strawberry aroma—so delicious.

Just sitting here is healing.

Above all, the quality of the bakery menu at this Pocheon Gwangneung Arboretum café was incredible. The potato filling was creamy and buttery, and sooo tasty.

The salty, crisp salt bread paired incredibly well with the soft potato.

This large Pocheon bakery café is full of an exotic atmosphere. Dogs are welcome, and every corner is beautiful, so it is just right for a weekend date—let's visit this weekend.
