PGA scalp spa & layered design cut at Heiro Jamsil, Songpa

I recently visited Heiro Jamsil Lotte World to properly heal my damaged hair and tired scalp, and got a design cut to welcome autumn :)

Finding Heiro Jamsil Lotte World from Jamsil Station

Heiro Jamsil Lotte World is directly connected to Jamsil Station, so it's really easy to get to! Though I'm a bit bad with directions, so on the way in I ended up near the parking lot entrance, and on the way out I exited near the Ice Garden. All good experiences though, haha.

The salon is on the same floor as this Ice Garden (the skating rink!!). It's been a while since I got to see a skating rink, haha.

As soon as I stepped inside, the modern, emotional interior greeted me and instantly put me at ease.

Consultation with designer KOI: scalp heat and split ends

My designer that day was KOI, known for her sensitive touch. She welcomed me warmly, guided me to my seat, and prepared the tea I wanted.

During the consultation, she carefully checked my current hair condition and scalp concerns.

I told her that after getting through summer, my scalp had a lot of heat and my hair ends kept splitting from frequent treatments. She recommended a customized care plan: a PGA scalp spa, a Makisaki hair clinic, and a design cut to catch the shape. It was exactly what I needed :)

The scalp spa started with a scalp scan.

She scanned my hairline, crown, back of the head, and sides thoroughly~ I thought I'd been shampooing carefully every day, but seeing how messy my scalp actually was, I felt a bit embarrassed >_< This is exactly why you need an expert's hands.

This product is a serum made with good ingredients. I actually learned about the brand PGA for the first time here — she used their products at each step, and carefully made sure each one was applied properly.

The PGA scalp spa was pure healing. She thoroughly scaled away the waste buildup and old dead skin cells from every corner of my scalp, and my head felt so refreshed that even my pent-up stress seemed to fly away!

The Makisaki hair clinic happens in a separate space

Next came the Makisaki hair clinic! It's a step-by-step care program that fills your hair with moisture and protein, delivering nutrients deep into damaged strands. This was done in a separate location.

I was so relaxed during the steam care that I almost dozed off. After the care finished, I ran my hand through my hair and was genuinely shocked at how smoothly it slid through with no snagging at all!

After the care, she did another scalp scan, and I could really see how clear and clean my scalp had become. I also noticed a shelf on the wall stocked with customers' spa supplies — that's when I realized why people come back regularly for this!! :)

An easier-to-style design cut from designer KOI

Once the clinics had firmly restored the foundation of my hair, designer KOI moved on to the design cut. She shaped the lines in detail based on my face shape and my usual styling habits, adding layers that were light and sophisticated without being excessive — finishing it into a style that's easy to manage on my own at home!

Once it was done, people around me kept saying how well it suited me and how pretty it looked — I was so happy, haha.

It was amazing and satisfying how just the cut alone brought back volume and made my hair look so much more polished.

Final thoughts

This treatment with designer KOI at Heiro Jamsil Lotte World was extremely satisfying! I got to cool down a stuffy, tired scalp, and came away with soft hair and an easy-to-manage cut of a lifetime. I highly, highly recommend this as a Songpa hair salon for women's hair!! I'm already planning to go back soon to get a perm from designer KOI, too :)
