A month after getting my nails done, I returned to Nail & Style Leplus Ilsan WesternDom Branch, a nail salon in Ilsan.

Nail & Style Leplus Ilsan WesternDom Branch is at the far end of the second floor of WesternDom Building A in Ilsan. It is open 11:00–20:00 Monday through Friday and 10:00–19:00 on weekends, with free parking available. Reservations can be made through Naver Booking or by phone.

A spacious, comfortable interior

Once inside, the high ceiling makes the salon feel much more spacious and comfortable than it looked from outside.

There are private rooms for appointments, as well as a separate space for nail care.

I had this set done by Artist Jimin, who worked in such a calm and meticulous way. I tend to get nervous during nail removal and care, but I was completely comfortable—highly recommended!

I always find choosing nail art difficult, but she understood the style I wanted and recommended a design I really loved.

From gel removal to choosing a color

Before photo. After a month, my nails had grown out a lot, making typing uncomfortable and causing plenty of typos. Still, the tidy natural color had held up nicely.

Nail & Style uses single-use hygiene kits, so I could feel at ease about cleanliness too.

We started with gel removal, and Artist Jimin carefully removed it from each finger one by one. I was so pleased.

She adjusted the nail shape and length exactly as I wanted, and the gel removal was finished neatly. I had once experienced painful cuticle removal, so I was nervous, but she handled this just as calmly and carefully.

After smoothing the nail surfaces, it was time to properly start the manicure! First, she applied the base gel thoroughly.

Then, while I was deliberating over colors, she tested no fewer than four shades for me. They looked similar, but each had a slightly different feel.

With the colors lined up directly on my hand like this, the differences were much easier to see. They were all pretty, but with her help—and consideration for my personal color—I chose the shade that suited me best.

Subtle magnetic gel and natural marble art

I mentioned that I did not like seeing the white part of my nails, so she applied two coats of magnetic gel, filling the whole nail neatly. There was marble art too: she applied the base color first, then

she poured out little amounts of several colors and drew each detail one by one—such care 🙌🏻 And that is how the natural marble art was created 🤍

After the top gel, she finished with oil filing, making everything look even cleaner.

The marble art was not too bold; it blended softly with the magnetic-gel color. I usually love nails that are subtle yet luminous, so this was exactly my style.
