We were out having fun on Yeongjong Island in Incheon when my kid asked for a snack, so we stopped by Rolly Polly Yeongjong Sky City 🍭 It's newly opened, so I was curious, and it turned out there was way more to look at and a bigger variety than I expected — great for browsing together with my kid.

Our family's visit had exactly one purpose: candy & jelly 🤭 It's a place where you scoop out as much as you want yourself and pay by weight, so my kid had a blast picking, and honestly so did I.
What snacks does Rolly Polly stock?

The moment you walk in, the colorful jellies are the first thing that catches your eye!

From sugar-free candy to caramel, yogurt jelly, and all sorts of individually packaged jellies, the variety was really impressive. There were familiar snacks I'd seen before along with jellies I'd never seen, so it was fun to check them out one by one.

It's not just jelly — there's a separate drinks corner too, so you can pick out something to sip alongside your sweet snacks.

There was even dip 'n dots ice cream, a snack I really loved as a kid!!! It's been so long, I was so happy to see it haha. From snacks I used to eat as a kid to items today's kids love, there was something for every generation to enjoy browsing.

The store is so cute and charming that just looking around one item at a time was really enjoyable haha.
So if you're looking for a great jelly spot on Yeongjong Island, this could be a good place to stop and browse snacks with your kid.
How does pick-your-own jelly work? ₩45 per gram opening event

My kid's favorite part 🤭 You get to pick out whichever jellies you want, one at a time, and put them into a bag. I liked that you're not locked into a set amount — you can just fill up with what you actually want to eat.

You can also weigh your bag along the way, which made it easy to adjust to fit our budget. It's ₩48 per gram, but right now there's an opening event bringing it down to ₩45 per gram.

The bags were neatly set up too, making it easy even for a kid to pick things out alone.

Kids should come with a guardian! My kid picked out all sorts of jellies with my husband's help haha.
The candy and jelly selection, from sugar-free to Dippin' Dots

There really were so many kinds of candy and jelly! Some were jellies my kid always likes, and some were products we'd never seen before, so it was fun browsing and picking one by one.
Since you fill up with only what you want to eat, the browsing itself was as fun as the shopping haha.

Since these are snacks for kids, product safety naturally crosses your mind. Knowing these are approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety put me a bit more at ease when picking out snacks for my child.
With such a wide variety and the freedom to pick out exactly what you want, this seems like a great place to come pick out snacks with your kid :)
Slime and Wak Ppu balls: what the toy shelves hold

I thought it was only jelly, but while looking around I found they had slime too.
There were also the whack-pu balls that seem to be everywhere lately, along with quite a variety of other things kids would love.

I especially noticed they carry SLKO slime, known for being a safe slime brand. So it's less a place you come only to buy snacks and more a place where you can spend time browsing all sorts of things with your kid!
If you're looking for a slime café on Yeongjong Island, this is worth keeping in mind as a place where you can also browse snacks at the same time.
How much did the family's jelly bag cost?

After lots and lots of picking, our family's jelly haul was finally done >_< This amount came to just over ₩10,000. Since you can fill up with only what you want and check the weight along the way, picking things out together with your kid is genuinely fun :)
Is Rolly Polly worth a stop for snacks on Yeongjong Island?
