Songpa all-you-can-eat steak, bar seats and mentaiko pasta: Sekaro

In short

Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch is an all-you-can-eat steak restaurant on Songi-ro 17-gil in Songpa, Seoul. Two diners took the bar seats for the World Steak course (68,000 won per person) and worked through coleslaw salad, truffle yukhoe (beef tartare) with gim-bugak, tomato beef stew, several cuts of steak, cream mentaiko pasta and panna cotta. The crunchy beef tongue was the most memorable dish at Sekaro, and with ades and beer refilled for free, it works well as a Songpa date spot.

Songpa all-you-can-eat steak Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch

I was out in Songpa wondering what to eat for dinner and stumbled on Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch! I was already craving steak, and this place lets you eat steak all-you-can-eat, so I went straight in haha.

Where is Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch, and is there parking?

Exterior and entrance signage of Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch
World Steak all-you-can-eat sign in front of the restaurant

There was a menu board lined up out front, but since we were going for the World Steak all-you-can-eat, this sign caught my eye right away lol. We drove there that day, and there was a spot to park beside the restaurant! It's not a very spacious lot though, so if you're bringing a car, keep that in mind.

Inside Sekaro Songpa: bar seats and private rooms

The interior of Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch had a bit of an American steakhouse vibe. There's a waiting area near the entrance, and further in there are separate private rooms! Families were dining together in the rooms.

We were seated at the bar instead of a room, and sitting side by side eating together had a surprisingly nice atmosphere haha. It'd work well as a Songpa date spot too!!

How the World Steak course works and what it costs

We ordered the World Steak at ₩68,000 × 2 people.

Usage instructions for the World Steak course printed on the table

The usage instructions were printed right on the table! The World Steak course we ate is 90 minutes for ordering and 120 minutes for dining. You can keep ordering up to the 90-minute mark, and after that you still have plenty of time to leisurely finish eating haha. Whatever steak you want, you just add it right away through the table order tablet.

Raw meat cuts shown by staff before ordering

Before we ordered, a staff member came and showed us the raw meat in person, explaining each cut one by one haha. Hearing the full rundown before deciding what to try first made ordering way easier!!

First course at Sekaro: coleslaw salad and unlimited drinks

Coleslaw salad ordered via tablet

First, the coleslaw salad we ordered through the tablet arrived. Nice and light before the main event.

Unlimited guava ade and yuzu ade

Next was guava ade and yuzu ade! I thought only the meat was all-you-can-eat, but turns out the ade and beer are unlimited too lol. Isn't that amazing!!

Truffle yukhoe with gim-bugak topping

Next up, truffle yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare) with gim-bugak (crispy fried seaweed) topping. You put the yukhoe on top of the gim-bugak and eat them together, and this combo was surprisingly delicious. Crispy gim-bugak plus soft, chewy yukhoe!! The faint truffle aroma coming through made it totally my type.

Tomato beef stew and corn cream soup

Corn cream soup

The tomato beef stew had a nicely deep tangy tomato flavor and quite a bit of meat inside. The corn cream soup was nutty, sweet, and smooth — the kind of flavor that kept pulling my spoon back!!

How was the steak? Beef tongue was the standout

A bite of steak seasoned simply with salt

Our ordered steaks came out one by one. Since it was cooked fresh, you could really feel the juiciness from the first bite — so good!! Overall it leaned closer to well-done, but when you chewed it, it was reasonably tender and the meat flavor really came through.

Crunchy-textured beef tongue steak

You have to try this beef tongue in particular!! The chewy yet crunchy texture was so good, ugh. The nutty flavor kept building the more I chewed, and out of everything we ate that day, the beef tongue stuck with me the most!!

From the second round on, we tried ones brushed with sauce. Adding the sauce made the flavor much bolder, a totally different feel from the plain salt seasoning at first! With so many cuts of meat to choose from, it was great that we could instantly reorder whatever we liked haha. If you're looking for all-you-can-eat beef in Seoul and want to pick from a variety of cuts, this place is worth checking out!!

Cream mentaiko pasta and panna cotta to finish

Next, cream mentaiko (seasoned pollock roe) pasta! Sekaro Songpa Main Branch isn't just unlimited steak — you can order pasta too.

Cream mentaiko pasta

It was nice to eat alongside the meat mid-meal, and the rich, thick cream sauce paired with the salty kick of the mentaiko worked better together than I expected. We came for steak, but honestly kept reaching for the pasta too lol.

Panna cotta for dessert

Lastly, we finished off with panna cotta for dessert. After filling up on meat and pasta, ending with something sweet hit the spot!!

From steak to sides to pasta to dessert, it was nice being able to pick and choose from so many options haha. The beef tongue stuck with me the most, and if you're looking for an all-you-can-eat steak spot in Songpa, I'd recommend Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch!
