Hi everyone~ It's Kkong ✨️ I went to Solsot Gwangalli, a restaurant in Gwangalli, Busan 🌿

Where is Solsot Gwangalli and what are the hours?

Solsot Gwangalli is on the 1st floor of 78 Gwangnam-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan, 313 meters from Exit 1 of Geumnyeonsan Station. It's open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30.

What do you get from the review event?

If you join the review event, they give you a small yurinji (Korean-style crispy fried chicken) 🌿 Instead of the yurinji you can also get a soft drink ✨️

The storefront — look for the red sign

The storefront stands out with its red sign :) Walk out of Geumnyeonsan Station Exit 1, head straight down toward the beach, and you'll spot it right in front of the crosswalk :)

Inside Solsot Gwangalli: seating and the big fish tank

How to eat pot rice at Solsot Gwangalli

How to eat the pot rice is written at every table ✨️ It's even written in Japanese~! But when they bring it out, they still kindly ask if it's your first time and explain it ✨️

Sea bream and scallop pot rice

Here's the sea bream and scallop pot rice ✨️

Sea bream scallop pot rice topped with red sea bream flesh and scallops

The tender red sea bream flesh and the scallops are already cut into pieces that are easy to mix!

First, mix the sea bream and scallop pot rice all together in the pot

then portion it all out into the bowl on the right!

You can season the rice with the soy sauce provided alongside it!

After that, put 3 spoons of the nurungji at your table into the pot, pour in the broth (careful, it's hot!), and close the lid!

It's also delicious wrapped in seaweed with a bit of salted seafood added!

Steak pot rice

Here's the steak pot rice ✨️

Same process for the steak pot rice — mix it in the pot, portion it into the bowl, then add 3 spoons of nurungji and pour in the broth!

Steak pot rice served with teriyaki-based sauce

They said the steak sauce is quite strong, so ask them to add just a moderate amount instead of all of it :) It was a delicious teriyaki-based sauce!

Best side to add: yurinji

Small yurinji received through the review event
A plate of bite-sized yurinji

The yurinji is delicious ✨️ It's bite-sized so it's easy to eat too ✨️ You can even get the small size through the review event, so definitely try it :)

The nurungji finish — each pot rice tastes different

I liked that the nurungji tasted different depending on the pot rice ✨️ The sea bream scallop one was savory and salty, and the steak one had a nice buttery flavor :)

Final verdict on Solsot Gwangalli
