Seogwipo rooftop café with English kiosk ordering: Forest Jeongbang
In short
Forest Jeongbang is an ocean-view café on Chilsimni-ro 214beon-gil in Seogwipo, Jeju, looking out to Munseom island. Visiting with friends, the writer ordered at the entrance kiosk — a Jeongbang Waterfall latte (7,500 won), a Jeju Aurora ade (8,000 won) and an iced Americano — then photographed the drinks on the rooftop with Munseom in the background. With English on the menu and its own parking lot, Forest Jeongbang is an easy stop for foreign travelers and anyone arriving by car.

I went with friends to Forest Jeongbang, an ocean-view café in Seogwipo, just to shake off some stress and have a change of scenery.

It's an ocean-view café in Seogwipo where the open sea and Munseom island come into full view at once, which really lifted my mood.
Where is Forest Jeongbang, and what are its hours?

Parking, palm trees and the outdoor photo spot

There's dedicated parking right next to the café, so it was easy to park. The tall palm trees standing there gave it an exotic, resort-like feel from the moment I parked.

As soon as I stepped through the entrance, I saw it was full of cute Pokémon and Hello Kitty plush dolls.

Seeing the cutely decorated photo zone, I thought kids would really love it.

On the café's exterior windows, there were posters of the signature menu items.

Photos of their signature drinks like the Jeongbang Waterfall latte, Jeju Aurora ade, and Udo peanut latte were up, and honestly the drinks looked so pretty haha.
Inside Forest Jeongbang: garden view downstairs, sea view upstairs

Once inside, big picture windows give you a full view — the garden outside on the 1st floor, and the sea on the 2nd floor. Sitting in the sofa seats by the window on the 1st floor, I thought you could easily keep an eye on kids running around outside.
Ordering at the kiosk with an English menu

Ordering is done through a kiosk set up by the entrance.

Each menu item had an actual photo on the kiosk screen, which made choosing easy.

There's also an English menu, and English instructions above the kiosk too. I figured they probably get quite a few foreign customers when I was ordering, but while we were chatting and hanging out in the café, three families of foreign tourists came in. Seems like this café is pretty well known among foreign travelers.
The open rooftop with Munseom island views

Going up to the rooftop terrace, Munseom island and the sea view came into sight in the distance.

We had a fun time taking drink photos with Munseom in the background haha. They came out so pretty.
Forest Jeongbang's colorful signature drinks
We ordered three drinks in total: the Jeongbang Waterfall latte, Jeju Aurora ade, and an iced Americano.

Jeongbang Waterfall latte, 7,500 won
This is Forest Jeongbang's signature drink, the ocean-view Seogwipo café's representative menu item. It has a blue tint at the bottom that gives an ocean feel, and it's a latte with pistachio flavor. It went really well with the sea in the background haha.

Jeju Aurora ade, 8,000 won
The Jeju Aurora ade we ordered alongside it had such a pretty mix of pink and purple. Round purple ice cubes floated in the pink drink, and it tasted like lemon ade haha.
Is Forest Jeongbang worth a visit?

Lining up the Jeongbang Waterfall latte, Aurora ade, and iced Americano together for a sea-background photo haha. Since the drinks all have such pretty colors and visuals, it was fun taking photos on the rooftop! It has its own parking lot so it's easy to visit, and it's dog-friendly too. It opens at 9am, so it also seems like a good spot for a sandwich breakfast. I liked having the ocean view with Munseom right in front, and since Jeongbang Waterfall and Jagujiwon Park are nearby, it might be worth keeping in mind for your trip.
