Window seat with Lotte Tower view, jazz quartet 2nd set: Allegro
In short
Allegro is an Italian restaurant in Songpa, Seoul, a 3–4 minute walk from Songpa Naru Station Exit 2, where diners enjoy live jazz alongside dinner. A 7pm reservation brought house-made focaccia and ciabatta, a seafood salad, carbonara and a sous-vide pork shoulder steak with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, followed by a vocal-and-three-piece jazz quartet through both the first and second sets. With a window seat looking straight out at Lotte Tower, it's a solid pick for a Jamsil date night.

My husband is the one who got me into the charm of live jazz shows.
A restaurant with live jazz opened right near my neighborhood, so I had to check it out. I found Allegro while looking for a good Italian restaurant in Jamsil. Good food plus a jazz show made for a refreshingly different date night in Jamsil 💕

Where do you book a reservation?
You can book through Catchtable. If you note a birthday or anniversary in the request field, they're currently running an event where they provide a dessert with lettering — good to know! 🎉
How far is it from Songpa Naru Station? (Location & parking)
📍 Allegro is about a 3–4 minute walk from Exit 2 of Songpa Naru Station. Close enough to the station that getting there by public transport is really convenient.

🚘 There's no dedicated parking lot for the restaurant, so if you're driving, you'll need to use a nearby paid parking lot. There are a few around, so I'd recommend checking in advance before you visit.
Jazz-club vibe inside, with a Lotte Tower window seat

Step off the elevator on the 3rd floor and you can feel the jazz vibe from the entrance itself 🎺🎵
✔️ You can check the show schedule on their Instagram.

There are seats angled toward the stage for those who want a good view of the show, and window seats set up for people who'd rather focus on the meal than the performance.

Seats filled up quickly, and it was mostly couples. Great atmosphere — felt like I'd found a new favorite Jamsil date spot 😊

This is the vibe from the window seat ✨ You can see Lotte Tower right outside.
Once the sun went down, the interior felt even more atmospheric. I really loved that Lotte Tower view 🤗
The drawings on the wall are totally my style, too!
Live jazz show times and cover charge

We booked for 7pm, so we had plenty of time to look over the menu and order. Once we'd eaten a bit, the show naturally kicked off — I'd recommend arriving a little early rather than timing your visit exactly to the show start.
What's on the menu

Allegro serves a wide range of Italian dishes — pasta, salads, gnocchi, steak, polpo (octopus) and more. There were quite a lot of pasta options to choose from depending on your taste, plus wine and light sides to go with it.

The wine list is really extensive. They also sell red and white wine by the glass — ₩12,000.
Today's picks
House focaccia & ciabatta ₩3,000

We ordered the focaccia & ciabatta without realizing complimentary bread would also come out 😂 On the left is either ciabatta or focaccia, honestly hard to tell. On the right is a campagne with cranberries and nuts. Being house-made, the bread was soft and had no dryness at all — really good.

This is the complimentary bread.
White wine glass ₩12,000

The white wine (Sauvignon Blanc) was bright and refreshing, and it paired especially well with the seafood salad. It felt like a wine that wouldn't overpower any dish and would pair well with pretty much anything on the menu.
Seafood salad ₩20,000

A Mediterranean-style salad with fresh seafood, bell pepper, onion, sea grapes, and a lime dressing.
Highly, highly recommend the seafood salad!! Lots of variety of seafood and a generous portion. The tangy, zesty flavor really wakes up your appetite 💕

Scoop up a big spoonful and go for it. It's also great piled onto bread. Zero fishy taste at all.
Carbonara ₩19,000

An authentic carbonara made with guanciale, pecorino cheese, and a fresh egg yolk.

Creamy without being heavy, with a sharp kick of black pepper that balanced the flavor really well 🤭 The guanciale (pork cheek/jowl) in particular had this crispy-yet-chewy texture and a nutty flavor I loved — a different charm from bacon entirely.
Sous-vide pork shoulder steak ₩33,000

Domestic pork shoulder (300g), sous-vide cooked and seared crispy, served with a peppercorn sauce.

Can you feel the thickness? 🤤

Crispy on the outside, moist inside. Not tough at all — it chews soft and lets you really taste the clean, mild flavor of the pork shoulder. The sauce and the fries on the side were also excellent.
So, what do you think jazz is?
Jazz, you know. It's like ba-da-boo-bah, doo-bee-doo-bee-bah-bah 🎵
That evening's performers were the Lee Ji-yeon Quartet — one vocalist and three musicians. Hearing jazz live made the whole atmosphere so much better 💕
We enjoyed it so much we stayed through the second set too.
So, would I go back?
Getting to enjoy delicious Italian food alongside a live jazz show made for such a romantic evening at Allegro. The food overall was satisfying, and what made it special was being able to enjoy live jazz right while you're eating. I'm curious to hear other performers too, so I'd love to visit again!
Good food, great atmosphere, and a live show all in one — a perfect spot for a Jamsil date. If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant in Jamsil with a great vibe, I'd definitely recommend it 💕
