A tonkatsu spot near Pangyo Station and Hyundai Department Store

Katsu Shokudo is on B1 of Pangyo's Alphadom Tower! It's close to Pangyo subway station and Hyundai Department Store Pangyo, so getting there was easy!

I'd heard this is a popular lunch spot for office workers around Pangyo~ There are lots of seats, and the restaurant is spacious too! I visited for weekend lunch, and it was still busy, haha. As expected of a Pangyo lunch favorite, Katsu Shokudo!

Just seeing all those Blue Ribbons made me trust it even more,,! It is surprisingly hard to find tonkatsu that is all-around good, but this place had amazing reviews 👀 There really aren't that many places in Pangyo to eat alone, but this one has plenty of solo-dining seats, so I think it would be convenient for solo customers! It would be a nice place to stop by alone when you have plans in Pangyo too, hehe.

Hire katsu and cheese katsu ordered by tablet

You can order and pay right at your table using a tablet! The menu here is seriously varied—tonkatsu, curry, udon, nabe, and more,, But I went straight for >>tonkatsu<<! Haha, hire katsu and mozzarella cheese katsu 🥩🥩

Tissues, salt, hair ties, and wet wipes are all at the table, so you can use them comfortably~~ One thing: you need to twist the salt grinder! I opened the whole thing and poured out a huge rush of salt,,, what a disaster ^^ haha.

About ten minutes later, the tonkatsu arrived! Curry is included with the basic set here too. You start craving curry while eating tonkatsu, so this was such a good choice ^.^ The owner clearly knows good food, right?!

Crisp, thick cheese katsu and hire katsu

My boyfriend had the hire katsu~ I had the cheese katsu~ Both looked absolutely amazing >.< I started drooling right away;;; They fry everything to order, so it arrives crispy, thick, and piping hot!

Isn't the cheese katsu visual incredible? ^.^ I've mostly been eating tenderloin lately, so I ordered cheese katsu for the first time in a while. It was a cheese tonkatsu that sticks faithfully to the basics, and I reaaaally enjoyed it! It was packed with cheese, and the savory cheese stretched and stretched. Hehe, can you feel that rich cheese just from the photo? I wanted to eat it all without giving any to my boyfriend ^^,, but we shared it^^

The tenderloin katsu was tender and light too. Everyone knows hire katsu tastes insanely good when you top it with wasabi and dip it lightly in salt, right? And the wasabi was actually yuzu wasabi!

Mix rice into the curry too, and a whole meal disappears in no time. I can't believe only Pangyo office workers have been enjoying a place this good,, If you're looking for a great Pangyo lunch spot, I highly, highly recommend the tonkatsu at Katsu Shokudo 🤎
