Sunset outdoor pizza night at Pizza Face Off, Songpa, Seoul

My N-th visit to Pizza Face Off on Songridan-gil! It's just such a great spot for pizza and beer at the outdoor tables when the weather's nice, so I went back again haha.

5 minutes from Seokchon Station, and that outdoor vibe

Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch is famous for its outdoor-seating vibe! It's about a 5-minute walk from Seokchon Station, so it's easy to find, and it's close to Seokchon Lake too, making it a nice stop on a walk. When the weather's good, outdoor seating is really the way to go, right? haha. It's a great spot whether you're coming with a group of friends or on a date as a couple, enjoying pizza and beer >.<

Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch also has indoor seating where you can watch baseball, which was great! I saw a lot of couples there too, but the outdoor tables really are perfect for a bigger group. As long as the weather cooperates, this is the place I'll think of when I'm looking for a great outdoor spot near Seokchon Lake. A cold beer with pizza — isn't that just happiness? haha

Goods display and self-serve bar

On one side there's a display of merch, which was subtly stylish and cool enough to be fun to browse. The self-serve bar has water, pickles, hot sauce, and wet wipes, so just help yourself to whatever you need! I liked that even these small details were made easy ◡̈

The beers came out first, so we clinked glasses right away~~ I don't know why draft beer tastes even more refreshing when you're drinking it outdoors haha. The IPA had a subtle aroma and went down clean, while the Cass had that familiar crisp taste! We sipped our beers and soaked up the vibe even before the pizza arrived >.<

Doesn't this pizza just look amazing from the visuals alone? The toppings were piled generously on top of the golden-baked crust, so it caught our eye the moment it arrived 🤤

When I lifted a slice, the cheese stretched out in long strings — I mean, who could resist that view,, The crust was chewy, and the savory cheese combined with the salty bacon paired perfectly with the beer!

Thick and creamy rosé pasta

The rosé pasta looked thick and rich from the visuals too, so I had high expectations! The staff kindly explained that we should stir the sauce well before eating so it mixes evenly.

After stirring the sauce and noodles together well, the thick rosé sauce properly coated the noodles. The creamy softness combined with a subtle tomato tanginess kept it from feeling heavy, and I kept reaching for more >.<

The outdoor atmosphere comes alive once the sun sets

🌙 As time passed, the outdoor vibe really kicked in! As the sun gradually went down, the atmosphere shifted completely. Once the lights came on too, that signature outdoor-dining feeling really came through! With delicious pizza, pasta, and cold draft beer all together, we lost track of time eating~~ This is exactly why it's fun to go hunting for great outdoor spots in Jamsil on a nice day ◡̈

To sum up

Pizza Face Off is the place that comes to mind whenever I want pizza and beer on Songridan-gil! Especially on a nice day, the outdoor atmosphere adds so much that just sitting there makes me happy haha. The stretchy cheese pizza paired with cold draft beer was such a great combo. If you're looking for a great outdoor spot near Seokchon Lake, in Jamsil, or on Songridan-gil, this is worth a visit >.<
