Let me write up my review of the blueberry cream cheese waffle and hand drip coffee at Hands Coffee in Dongchon Resort, Daegu — I fell for the texture and flavor. The interior, desserts, and coffee were all excellent, making it a perfect spot for dates or group meetups.
Seating and atmosphere on floors 2, 3 and 4 of Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is a large café spanning the 2nd through 4th floors. I took interior photos in order from the 2nd to the 4th floor.
Hands Coffee has all kinds of tables and chairs. With so many windows, there are plenty of window seats too — I imagined the view would be beautiful all year round.
The antique interior gives off a luxe feel, and every seat looks like a photo spot, so I thought — this really is a place for the view.
Three things that matter for a date or a group hangout:

- Comfortable seating
- The aroma and taste of the food
All three passed with flying colors.
The 4th-floor rooftop and the low seating that works well with kids
The 4th floor has a rooftop plus indoor seating. Toward the back there's a wide, long floor-seating area with a lounge-like feel. That looked like the best spot for anyone coming with kids. On a nice day, try the rooftop.

Looking at the menu board at Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch, it was packed with delicious drinks, brunch, and desserts. Since we'd already eaten, something sweet sounded good — so we went with the blueberry cream cheese waffle!
Coming to Hands Coffee, you have to get a hand drip, right? We ordered the 'Yegacheffe Gedeb Uri.' And we also got a 'Dutch Latte Mélange.'
Such a nice-vibe café... Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is pretty from every angle. Looking at the photos and paintings hanging around, I felt like I'd walked into an exhibition space.

When I drank it, I picked up a bright, fragrant top note followed by a bittersweet heaviness — beyond the floral and fruity aromatics, there seemed to be a fair amount of chocolate-like body too. If you're curious what top-grade beans taste like, give it a try.
A tip for enjoying the coffee even more — read the info card that comes with the hand drip while you drink. Knowing the aroma and flavor profile of the beans somehow makes the scent feel sharper than usual, and you end up savoring the aftertaste on your tongue a bit more.

The blueberry cream cheese waffle comes topped with Häagen-Dazs ice cream, fresh blueberries, blueberry jam, cream cheese, and whipped cream. There's no way it could taste bad.

This glutinous rice waffle is the best!!!! The outside is crisp with a nice bite, while the inside is chewy, soft, and has that sticky texture. Does it clump up like rice cake? No! This right here is what 'crisp outside, chewy inside' really means!!

How to drink the Dutch Latte Mélange
This is a Dutch latte topped with rich Dutch coffee, smooth milk, and salted whipped cream. I'd recommend tasting the cream on its own first before mixing it in well. A gentle, soft sweetness spreads out — a nutty coffee with a sweetness that's not overwhelming. A fancy version of that 'Deowisanyang' ice cream bar flavor!
After enjoying the waffle and Dutch coffee, we were pretty full, so we took the rest of the coffee to go.
The restrooms: clean and surprisingly pretty
Even the restroom at Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is pretty. A clean restroom matters wherever you go, and I thought Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort was a genuinely nice place to spend time.

A luxurious, stylish interior, comfortable sofas, a gorgeous view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and delicious waffles and coffee — I stayed happily until the very end. This is a place I'd love to visit again to try the other brunch menu items: Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch.
