The weather's gotten a lot cooler lately, especially in the evenings!! You know how this golden weather is precious because it's so short-lived and disappears in a flash?ㅠㅠ Gotta soak up every bit of this cool weather!!!! It's going to get cold again soon😭😭 So even in the middle of being busy, I've been hunting down cafés with rooftops and terraces that have amazing views!!!
When it comes to view-famous cafés in Daegu, Palgongsan and Dongchon Resort are top picks, right haha. I recently visited a big café with a killer view, located at the very top of the hill at Dongchon Resort, so I wanted to write it up!! The place I went was 'Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch,' located at Dongchon Resort in Hyomok-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu💛

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is in Hyomok-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu. It's about a 15-minute walk from Exit 2 of Dongchon Station on the subway. Honestly, I'd recommend driving!!

You order on the 2nd floor at Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch. Go in and up the stairs, and the 2nd floor is the Hands Coffee entrance! You can also take the elevator^^!

The 2nd floor has plenty of seats, including ones with a window view, all the way to the back!!haha We went up to the 4th floor to eat on the rooftop-!!

Even excluding the rooftop, the 4th floor at Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch was spacious~~!! It was quiet, which was actually nice haha

Wow.. you can see a gorgeous bridge✨💛 Since it's a café up on a hill, the air is nice and cool too, highly recommend!!!!
What's on the brunch and dessert menu at Hands Coffee
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch had a huge variety of brunch menu items!! There are set combos too, so ordering with a drink for a discount seems like a good idea!! Since we'd already eaten and came here for dessert, we were more drawn to the dessert items than the brunch!!!!!
There were also a variety of cakes, but above all... the waffle visuals were insane!!!

How is the chocolate banana waffle with extra strawberry ice cream?
We took it up to the rooftop on the elevator!!! The visuals... it really looked hearty and delicious🤤 Forget calories and blood sugar, just eat!!!!!!!!!!!
Two big whole bananas were gently placed on top of the chocolate waffle! Chocolate chips were sprinkled on too, so it was the textbook definition of chocolate + banana. On top of that, with whipped cream and classic chocolate ice cream, this chocolate addict was completely happy😆😋😋
Dipping the chocolate waffle in the whipped cream is a blood sugar spike waiting to happen.. it was so sweet I nearly fainted💛 The waffle itself was a handmade glutinous rice waffle, crispy outside but totally chewy inside. Goes great with the banana too~~
The Häagen-Dazs chocolate ice cream had that texture I love,,🥹 dense..? with actual bits of chocolate to bite into🤤 The ice cream melted so fast while I was taking photos ㅠㅠㅠ Alternating between the Häagen-Dazs strawberry and chocolate~~
Milk tea and green tea latte at Hands Coffee
No need to even say how the milk tea and green tea latte were.. The milk tea had a really strong black tea aroma and was nicely sweet, a perfect match with the handmade waffle!!!! The green tea latte was a clean, rich green tea drink with a bitter-sweet combo too!!!

Next time I want to come back during the day for a drive and enjoy the amazing view with brunch. Hands Coffee with all its brunch variety and handmade waffles.. I love you💛 On a nice day, it's a great spot to drive to Dongchon Resort, enjoy the amazing rooftop view, and have some delicious brunch!! Highly recommend 'Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch'👍🏻
