Hot ham & cheese vs chicken breast sandwich, Seoul Station: Dance

I was looking around Seoul Station before catching my train, wanting something quick to eat plus a snack for the ride, when I stopped by Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station!! You know how at Seoul Station you have to move on the train's schedule, so sitting down for a proper meal can be awkward sometimes~~? Especially when there's not much time left before departure, grabbing something to go and eating it on the train is way more convenient than sitting in a restaurant. This is my very satisfied review of a great sandwich spot.

Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station? 1–2 minutes from Exit 4

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is on B3 of Grand Central. I stopped by to pack a sandwich before catching a train at Seoul Station, and the location turned out to be closer and easier to find than I expected.

It's about a 1–2 minute walk from Seoul Station Exit 4, so it's convenient if you're moving through Seoul Station!! Come out of Exit 4, head into the Grand Central building, then go down to B3. The shop is in the underground retail space, so once you're inside the building and heading to the basement floors, it's easy to spot.

Menu, 3,500-won set upgrade and the runner's coffee discount

Here's the menu board. There are also set options like brunch sets and sandwich sets. Add ₩3,500 to any sandwich or baguette to turn it into a set~!!

Turns out if you show proof of a running record, you get a coffee discount. Runners, working out and then grabbing a sandwich sounds pretty great haha.

You order at the kiosk!! They sell all kinds of things — sandwiches, baguettes, desserts, scones, coffee, soup and more. There were seasonal menu items too, and since it's fig season it looked like a lot of people were getting the fig baguette hahaha.

Today's order

I ordered two things: the chicken breast sandwich for ₩11,900 and the hot ham & cheese sandwich for ₩8,900!!

I just bought sandwiches haha. Sandwiches really do feel like the perfect answer for a meal before catching a train. Easy to carry, not too smelly, and satisfying enough as an actual meal~~!💛💛

Inside Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station: seating and a quick office lunch

Everything looked so good... I wanted the chocolate chip scone but they didn't have it ㅠㅠ

The seating was really nice too haha. Since it's inside an office building, it was mostly office workers there — totally works as a meal replacement, so it'd be great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Chicken breast sandwich, 11,900 won: the light, clean one

I picked it up along with a coffee and got on the train! The menu I chose was the chicken breast sandwich for ₩11,900, and the hot ham & cheese sandwich for ₩8,900. The two are quite different in style, so I deliberately picked one lighter option and one saltier, heartier option.

First, the chicken breast sandwich for ₩11,900. Since it's made with chicken breast, it's a good pick when you want something light. The chicken breast had that characteristic clean, mild flavor so it wasn't heavy at all, and with bread and vegetables layered in, it ended up more filling than I expected.

The whole grain mustard and veggies you bite into are the highlight haha.

It came pre-cut, which made it easy to eat! Sometimes eating something greasy while traveling feels like a lot, but the chicken breast sandwich was relatively clean and easy to eat. Great to have after working out too haha.

Hot ham & cheese sandwich, 8,900 won: the salty, filling one

The other one I picked was the hot ham & cheese sandwich for ₩8,900. It's clearly a different flavor from the chicken breast sandwich, so ordering both together worked well. As a ham-and-cheese combo, it's basically salty and savory by nature, so it suited a moment when I wanted something more filling than a light meal.

With ham and cheese sandwiched between the bread, the first bite has real flavor, and it goes really well with coffee!!! Comparing the two side by side, the chicken breast sandwich was the clean, light side~ while the hot ham & cheese was all about the savory, salty ham-and-cheese punch — pick based on your mood.
