Why we picked Two Find Peter in Beomgye

Honestly, I've visited Two Find Peter branches in other areas several times, so it's a place I could go without any worries. When you're searching for good restaurants and there's a franchise you already know, you can go in worry-free, right?

It'd really been a while since I was in Beomgye, and while searching for good restaurants there I found out Two Find Peter had a branch! That's how we finally got around to an Italian food date, which we hadn't done in (?) forever!

At Two Find Peter, even before you order

they bring out pre-meal bread first like this. Along with olive oil and balsamic sauce in one go

And this time we also tried the fresh-pressed orange juice with zero sweetness added. It really had no sweetness at all... none at all haha. When I saw this being sold at Monoprix in Paris I never bothered buying it, but I finally tried it here at Two Find Peter. And it genuinely had not one drop of sugar taste. If you love fresh-pressed orange juice, you'll really really love this.

Location, parking, and the mood inside

I used to visit Two Find Peter often for brunch! But this time, to be precise, it was chosen for dinner. It'd been so long since I'd been to Beomgye that a lot has changed!! It's not far from the subway station either — close to Beomgye Lotte Department Store too — so we got there without any trouble! Parking here is tricky, so I recommend parking at the department store instead.

The dim, moody lighting stood out, and once we stepped inside there turned out to be several different spaces — one with a darker mood, one with a brighter mood.

I usually like the darker mood, but this time we picked the bright space!!

And there was even a pretty photo zone like this!!! The atmosphere was genuinely great — Two Find Peter, my recommendation for the best pasta spot in Beomgye

The pre-meal bread arrived along with the cutlery! And we (well, mostly me) were hungry, so we quickly ordered our food!

Ta-da, the real 100% fresh-pressed orange juice appears first. The fresh-pressed juice really didn't have a single drop of water mixed in, and anyway it wasn't sweet at all!!

Spicy crab pasta

The first dish to arrive was the #spicycrabpasta. It was only very slightly spicy, so even someone spice-weak like me could eat it without trouble, and you could definitely taste the crab!!! An Italian food date after so long was so nice hahaha

I do make pasta at home sometimes, but having someone else make it for you, plated this nicely — so good. My boyfriend especially raved about how tasty this pasta was.

Quattro cheese gnocchi

#quattrocheesegnocchi — the second dish to come out was gnocchi. Gnocchi honestly can't really be bad, but since it's made by hand, I feel the taste subtly varies from place to place, you know? Anyway, it was delicious! Being able to taste four kinds of cheese at once was so nice!!

New menu item: chicken potato pizza

And after a long debate over whether to get Two Find Peter's signature corn pizza, we went with my boyfriend's pick, the new #chickenpotatopizza. The chicken potato pizza was tasty, but I personally liked the corn pizza a little better.

And so the two of us picked three dishes, got way too full to finish them, and were still clutching our bloated stomachs the next day. Let's not eat this much at dinner again ㅠ_ㅠ hahahaha. Two Find Peter isn't pricey either, so it's the perfect spot for a low-pressure date!

Why the pizza crust ends are especially good

Even while saying we were full, look how happily we ate. Maybe it was actually the fresh-pressed orange juice that filled us up so much.

And here's the reason you absolutely must order the pizza at Two Find Peter — these crust ends... they're so good ㅠ.ㅠ hahaha. It really makes you wonder what kind of dough this is. It genuinely tastes like baguette somehow, yet soft and moist — any baguette lover would genuinely enjoy it!?

Next time I'll order the corn pizza again. Two Find Peter, genuinely so tasty and so filling. When the two of us get greedy and order three dishes our stomachs get completely stuffed, so as dieters, let's hold back from now on — lesson learned.

After eating well at Two Find Peter, famous for its great atmosphere and good pasta in Beomgye, we moved on to Lotte Department Store.

We browsed the Chuseok gift sets too — anyway it was a full, genuinely stuffed kind of autumn day! haha
