Sushi restaurant near Sajik Stadium with a ramen swap: Moshi Moshi
In short
Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch is a Japanese restaurant on the 8th floor of Lotte Department Store in Dongnae-gu, Busan, and an easy place to eat before a baseball game at Sajik Stadium. We booked ahead and ordered the 2-3 person set plus a sushi platter with no overlapping dishes, then swapped the set's udon for ramen, which came with chashu pork. With department store parking and a private room, Moshi Moshi Sushi made for a relaxed meal with a child.

Why we picked Moshi Moshi Sushi for a meal near Sajik Stadium
A while back, before watching a Lotte baseball game, I was looking for a restaurant near Sajik Stadium and ended up at Moshi Moshi, the sushi place famous near Dongnae Lotte Cinema. Whenever I go to the ballpark I usually arrive 3-4 hours early — you can't just hop on the subway or bus, you kind of need to drive, so I end up going early anyway.

Moshi Moshi Sushi is located inside Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, which makes it perfect for eating good sushi and then browsing and shopping nearby. True to its reputation as the go-to spot near Dongnae Lotte Cinema, it was packed when I visited — tables were full, with 3-4 groups waiting. I'd booked ahead, so I got seated right away! And honestly, not having to worry about parking near Dongnae Lotte Cinema, since you can just park at the department store, was such a relief.

It's an open kitchen, so you can actually watch the sushi being made.

The Naver receipt review event and how to order
Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch is currently running a Naver receipt review event. Ask for your receipt, write a review, and show it to staff to get 2 pieces of shrimp sushi on the house.

Ordering from the table is simple, and there were plenty of options — set menus, platter menus, and more. Assorted sashimi, salmon sashimi, salmon salad, chashu, ramen, seafood yaki udon — true to its name as the sushi spot near Dongnae Lotte Cinema, there was a lot of fun in choosing. With such a wide range of menu options, it's a place that works for pretty much any age group, worth keeping in mind!

What comes in the 2-3 person set, the sushi platter and the side dishes
For basic side dishes, they give you salad, tofu, and pickled radish with ginger. We ordered one 2-3 person set plus a sushi platter — Sunny and I both love sushi, so we went generous with the order.

With the chashu and ramen added in, the portions were generous enough that we left completely full and satisfied. My kid loves sushi too, and since the sushi was fresh and neatly put together, it was easy to eat cleanly the whole way through.
Moshi Moshi Sushi has been a beloved sushi place in Busan for a long time. Since it's run as a directly operated business rather than a franchise, food quality and service management stay consistent, with all its branches apparently operating on the same standards and philosophy.

That's probably exactly why you can enjoy fresh, high-quality sushi at such reasonable prices. And even though it's inside a Lotte Department Store, there's a separate private room too, which would be great for a family meal or a quieter dining experience.

Swapping the set udon for ramen with chashu pork
We ordered both the sushi platter and a set menu at Moshi Moshi Sushi, making sure nothing overlapped. Since the sushi platter already comes with its own udon, we swapped the set menu's udon for ramen instead, and got to enjoy that alongside the chashu. The sets also come in several different configurations, so everyone can pick the set that suits them, which I really liked.

The chashu was so much better eaten together with the bean sprouts and onions served alongside it. The sweet flavor paired with the tangy onion aroma was delicious. The meat was tender and well cooked, and wrapping it up with a bite of ramen was pure bliss. Watching my kid eat it up happily made me think we'd made the right call coming to Moshi Moshi, the sushi spot near Dongnae Lotte Cinema.

Set udon served in a big bowl
Normally the udon that comes with a set menu is a small portion, but here they served it generously, in a large bowl.

The ramen with its rich broth was delicious too. Looking around the restaurant, seeing people of all ages there, I really felt this was a true local favorite in Dongnae.

What to do at Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch after the meal
After a leisurely lunch, we spent some time shopping and browsing around Lotte Department Store. It's still summer, so taking a kid around outside is a bit much, but being able to handle everything inside one building was so convenient and nice. We had a delicious, filling lunch and a happy time with my kid :)
