Songpa jazz bar with tablet ordering: tomato pasta at Allegro
In short
Allegro is a Western restaurant on Olympic-ro 32-gil in Songpa, Seoul, where you dine while a live jazz band plays. At a hall table, orders went in by tablet — sous-vide pork steak, tomato pasta and prosciutto potato salad — and the jazz ran through a first and second set, with a Lotte Tower view from the terrace. If you want food, live jazz and a night view in one place, Allegro fits.

You know those days when you want to eat somewhere with a really nice atmosphere for a special occasion? Good food alone is great, but a place where you can enjoy music at the same time makes a date feel so much more special.

This time I visited a jazz bar called Allegro, and it stuck with me because you can enjoy delicious food together with a live jazz performance.
Stepping out onto the terrace, you even get a view of Lotte Tower, so it was a great place for a day when I wanted something a bit more special than an ordinary meal. In this post I'll share the menu I actually tried, the atmosphere, and the charms of Allegro that I felt :)
Inside Allegro: interior and table layout
Allegro's main hall has tables arranged so you can watch the jazz performance comfortably. We ate in the hall, and the show was easy to see from anywhere — plus the space was clean and pleasant, which made it even better.

The restrooms are separated by gender and kept clean, so they were easy to use too.
Dinner with live jazz at Allegro, from the first set to the second
Allegro's biggest charm was definitely being able to eat while enjoying live jazz right in front of you. When you hear "jazz bar," you usually picture a place where people drink and just listen to the show, but at Allegro you get to enjoy the food too, which I loved.

Please check the photos for showtimes and prices. Lots of people left after the first set when we visited, but we enjoyed it so much we stayed all the way through the second set.
Eating good food while listening to live jazz gave the meal a definitely different vibe from a regular dinner. Chatting over quiet music made it a great fit for a date spot too, and I thought it'd be perfect for a day when you want to set a special mood. Especially for anniversaries or birthdays — days when you want a slightly more atmospheric meal than usual — a place like this feels like it'll stay memorable. If you're looking for a Songpa restaurant and care not just about the taste of the food but also the atmosphere, this is worth a visit.

We happened to visit on a day the Another Season team was performing, and it was so satisfying~!
Three dishes ordered by tablet at Allegro
At Allegro you order food using the tablet at your table. That day we ordered the sous-vide pork steak, tomato pasta, and potato salad.

🥩 Sous-vide pork steak
First up, the sous-vide pork steak! Having pork shoulder as a steak felt a bit different, but it was delicious. Eating it with the sauce made it not too heavy, and it felt like a great fit as a main dish. Slowly eating while listening to the jazz show let me savor each dish at a leisurely pace, which I loved.

🍅 Tomato pasta
For pasta, we ordered the tomato pasta. The tomato sauce's distinctive tangy yet savory flavor was great, and it paired really well with the steak. Ordering one meat dish and one pasta together turned out to be a nice combination. If two of you are visiting, I'd recommend ordering a few dishes and sharing.

🥔 Prosciutto potato salad
The potato salad we ordered as a side was tasty too. Rather than just eating mains like steak or pasta the whole time, adding a salad in between let us enjoy things in a much more varied way. Overall, every dish we ordered that day was delicious, so I was really satisfied with the food.
The Lotte Tower view from Allegro's terrace
One spot at Allegro you definitely have to step out to is the terrace. Going out onto the terrace, you can see Lotte Tower, and the atmosphere was really lovely.

Stepping out to the terrace mid-meal to check out the night view or take some photos was great, and it has a different charm from enjoying the jazz show indoors. Especially if you visit in the evening, you get to enjoy the music, food, and night view all together for an even more atmospheric time.
Why Allegro works as a special-occasion date spot in Songpa
What I liked most about Allegro is that it's not just a place to go eat — you get food + a jazz show + a night view all together. Usually we end up dating at cafés or regular restaurants, so it's nice to visit a place like this once in a while, where you can dine leisurely while listening to music.

Above all, having live jazz along with the meal made the whole dining experience feel like an event in itself. Good food, a jazz performance, and a Lotte Tower view from the terrace — if you're looking for a date spot for a special day, this place fits really well. For anyone searching for a Songpa restaurant who wants an atmospheric space along with good food, this should suit you especially well. It's a place I'd want to revisit whenever I want to eat in a slightly different atmosphere again :)
