Haeundae café salt bread, air-fryer crisp: Low & Sweet Bakery

I had something to do near Haeundae Station, so I stopped by Low & Sweet Bakery (로우앤스윗 베이커리) to pick up some desserts! I’d seen it on Instagram and saved it, and it happened to be right on Haeridan-gil, so I went straight over 🪽

Walking to Low & Sweet Bakery from Haeundae Station

Low & Sweet is about a 7–8 minute walk from Exit 4 of Haeundae Station. You can use its free dedicated parking spaces, numbers 41 and 42, right in front of the café, so it’s great for driving too!

Maybe because the exterior is so clean and pretty in that Instagram-ready way, there were lots of people taking photos out front too haha.

Warm indoor space and terrace seating

The interior was clean and warmly decorated too, with several tables for two to four people, so it looked nice for eating in as well as taking out! There are tables on the outdoor terrace too, which would be lovely on a nice day ♡

Visit early for the pastries you want

I visited at around 2:30 p.m. on a weekday, and a lot of the pastries had already sold out...!! If there’s a specific dessert you want, I think you’ll need to come early and claim it first 🤔

Here’s the drink menu~ They have clean, easy-to-pair coffee options for the bakery items, plus ades and tea for non-coffee drinkers too haha.

We only stopped in briefly and had to head straight home, so we got one Americano and picked out a few of the remaining pastries that looked delicious to take away 😎

I drank the Americano while we were on the move, and to me it was slightly light, with noticeable acidity! I think it would suit anyone who likes coffee that feels light and refreshing rather than nutty and full-bodied haha. It was pleasantly easy to pair with bread or desserts ☕️

Salt bread and egg tarts at home

And here are the pastries I tried as soon as I got home haha. I’d heard that Low & Sweet Bakery is famous in Haeundae for salt bread and egg tarts, so I picked up two egg tarts and one salt bread.

Salt bread with a lovely butter pocket

First, the salt bread!! It passed the most important salt-bread test: a proper butter pocket. The signature salty flavor of salt bread went so well with the rich buttery aroma—it was delicious. I could see why it’s known as a great salt-bread spot on Haeridan-gil!

And if you take the salt bread home, keep in mind that it tastes even better warmed in an air fryer 🤤 The outside gets crispier and the buttery flavor really comes through—so good haha 🪽

Egg tarts with crisp pastry and moist filling

One bite of the egg tart too! First of all, that baked color—so beautifully baked. The outside had a crisp pastry texture, while the inside was filled with a soft, moist filling, making it especially nice with coffee! I bought two because one didn’t seem enough, and they were so delicious that they disappeared in no time haha.

A bakery café worth stopping by on Haeridan-gil

Overall, it had a pretty café atmosphere and a range of bakery items, making it a nice place to stop when you’re looking for a café on Haeridan-gil! Next time, I’d like to visit a little earlier and eat in rather than just taking things away haha. I recommend Low & Sweet Bakery to anyone looking for great salt bread or egg tarts on Haeridan-gil ♡
