Gwangalli Bridge view bar with cream cheese gnocchi: Drunken Kitchen
In short
Drunken Kitchen is a bridge-view bar on the 2nd floor of an officetel in Gwangalli, Busan. A family dinner there ran from sunset into the lighting of Gwangan Bridge, over duck-topped cream cheese gnocchi, souffle egg rolls, and rabbit cookie vanilla ice cream. A good pick for a relaxed drink with a sea view in Gwangalli.

It had been a while since I'd had dinner with my second sibling's family in Gwangalli, and we were trying to figure out where to go for a drink with a nice atmosphere overlooking the sea haha. Gwangalli means one thing above all — the Gwangan Bridge view! We wanted somewhere with both good food and a pretty night view, and that's how we ended up at Drunken Kitchen.
Drunken Kitchen

Where in Gwangalli is it?
Drunken Kitchen is on the 2nd floor of the Gwangan Cheongildiob officetel, overlooking Gwangalli Beach! Another reason we came here — my sibling had been craving gnocchi so badly haha.

The interior is clean and spacious, with group seating too, so it's good for gatherings^^

How's the Gwangan Bridge view?
Drunken Kitchen's biggest draw is definitely the Gwangan Bridge view! You get the whole Gwangalli sea in sight, and it feels even better in the evening^^ Before sunset you get the blue sea and Gwangalli's usual laid-back mood,

and once the sun fully sets, the lights on Gwangan Bridge come on and the whole mood shifts^^

It's an open kitchen so you can watch the cooking, and the kitchen and surroundings were spotless!! I heard the chefs, trained at culinary school, built up the recipes themselves^^

Menu and ordering
Drunken Kitchen's menu, from hot-plate dishes to simple sides, is really varied^^

You just order simply via the table-order tablet^^
- Duck-topped cream cheese gnocchi ₩23,900
- Souffle egg roll ₩4,900
- Vanilla ice cream ₩5,900

The basic table setting. Drunken Kitchen even has stainless steel plates, cups, and water bottles, which made it feel even cleaner!!

The basic side dishes — candied walnuts and green onion kimchi. The kimchi is refillable, and extra walnuts can be ordered separately!

I had to drive, so sadly I went with a zero-sugar drink^^

Duck-topped cream cheese gnocchi
The duck-topped cream cheese gnocchi. My second sibling kept begging for gnocchi so we ordered it, and the cream cheese aroma was great, plus it's unique that it comes with smoked duck^^

The combination of smoked duck and cream sauce was surprisingly good and not the least bit heavy^^

Potato gnocchi is all about the soft, chewy texture, and with the sauce it came together into a nutty, smooth flavor^^ You still get that distinctive gnocchi mealy-chewy bite, and the sauce deepens the flavor even more!!

Topping it with the green onion kimchi like this is the best^^
Souffle egg roll, cooked to order
The souffle egg roll is made fresh — they mix the egg batter on the spot and grill it on the hot plate, and since they don't pre-make the batter, you can watch the whole process, which is somehow reassuring^^

They drew a cute little Gwangan Bridge on it like this^^ Almost too pretty to eat ㅜㅜ Such care put into a ₩4,900 dish — I was touched ㅜㅜ

Fluffy, soft souffle egg roll — definitely try it as a side!!

Dessert and the terrace
Last up, the dessert we ordered — rabbit cookie vanilla ice cream. True to its name, it comes topped with an adorably cute rabbit-shaped cookie, so I had to snap a photo the second it hit the table^^

Go through that door and there's a terrace, where smoking is allowed!

Drunken Kitchen is a place where you can enjoy Gwangalli's ocean view and the Gwangan Bridge view together with good food! Especially in the evening, when the bridge lights start coming on one by one, the mood is the best^^

A weekend evening with family after a long time^^ A perfect end to the weekend in a spot with great atmosphere!! If you want a nice drink with a sea view in Gwangalli, or you're looking for a Gwangalli date-course spot, this could be worth a visit.
