Haeundae bar with its own parking lot and group room: Namcheonjip

Did you know the famous Namcheonjip from Namcheon-dong also has a branch in Haeundae? Namcheonjip, Haeundae is well known as a local favorite too — a place where you can enjoy all kinds of dishes made with fresh ingredients!

I was looking for somewhere to have dinner in Haeundae and ended up here. The vibe was comfortable and the range of drinking snacks was so wide, it was perfect for a drink or two. Review, let's go!

Where is Namcheonjip in Haeundae, and what are the hours?

The address is 21 Jungdong 2-ro, Haeundae-gu — right next to the Haeundae District Office, and very close to Haeundae Beach too.

Open daily 16:00–24:00, closing at 23:00 on Sundays.

Namcheonjip has its own parking lot next to Haeundae District Office

Parking can be a real headache in Haeundae, but Namcheonjip, Haeundae has its own private lot!! And it's huge. You can visit without worrying about parking at all.

This whole building belongs to Namcheonjip, and you can dine on both the 1st and 2nd floors.

Is the 2nd-floor group room good for a work dinner?

The 2nd floor has a group room too, which looked really good for company dinners or group gatherings. Plenty of people who looked like they were on an actual work dinner were there.

Even on a weekday evening, it was this packed with customers. I'd recommend booking ahead before you visit..! The crowd ranged from young to old, which I think is proof this place is a real local favorite haha.

Namcheonjip menu: jeon (savory pancakes) and makgeolli

The menu ranges from full meals to drinking snacks, so you can easily do round one and round two here. In particular, the jeon (Korean savory pancake) selection is huge — modeum jeon (assorted pancakes), yukjeon (beef pancake), saewoo jeon (shrimp pancake), gul jeon (oyster pancake), and more. There's even hongeo jeon (fermented skate pancake), which is hard to find, so if you're into hongeo this place is your best pick haha.

There's also suyuk (boiled pork), hongeo samhap (fermented skate with pork and kimchi), plus grilled fish and ogyeop jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork belly) that work well as full meals — such a wide range of choices.

Oh, and they have a lot of makgeolli too. I really love Haechang and Boksoondoga, and both were on the list. Highly recommend both..!

Once you order, they lay out the side dishes like this. Japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), kimchi, and shredded potato — all my favorites, so I happily nibbled on them while waiting for the main dish haha.

Small suyuk for 38,000 won: portion size and taste

I loved how many ssam (wrap) vegetables there were, and they looked fresh at a glance. Alba-baechu (young napa cabbage), lettuce, perilla leaves — a whole pile of variety 🥬 Vegetables are pricey these days, so this is exactly the time to eat plenty haha.

Wow~~ the suyuk color looks so good. You can tell at a glance it's the soft, tender type of suyuk. It comes with mu-malaengi (dried radish strips), garlic, and chili peppers. Even the small size came with a generous portion — great value!

The mu-malaengi was sweet with a bit of spice, right up my alley. It went really well with the suyuk. I love eating it with all these different pairings 👍

I took a close-up shot to show you the quality of the suyuk up close. Zero gamy smell! The quality felt like it came from a dedicated suyuk specialty restaurant.

Eating it with the mul-kimchi (watery kimchi) side dish was salty-savory and delicious too. The ratio of fat to meat was just right.

Oh my, the kimchi here is a winner too!! The seasoning is spot on..🫶

Who Namcheonjip in Haeundae suits best

As the weather gets chillier these days, don't you just crave makgeolli with a good Korean drinking snack? If you're looking for a comfortable place for a drink in Haeundae, I recommend Namcheonjip, Haeundae!! Go with friends, order a bunch of different snacks, and try them all..!! haha
