Where is Dufftown Burger in Jeonpo, Busan?

Dufftown is a Jeonpo burger restaurant that's close by if you walk straight out from exit 8 of Jeonpo Station. Hours are 11:30-21:00, and for parking you can use the nearby paid lots (Jeonpo 1-dong Public Parking, Jungang Parking).

There are so many good restaurants in Jeonpo, and Dufftown was one I'd had my eye on. My foodie friend had already been a few times, so I trusted her and went ahead 🍔

Coming out of exit 8 and wandering the alleys, I could spot this hip burger place from a distance 🍔

Anyone could tell it's a burger place! Yeah ~~~~ this was a Jeonpo burger spot only I hadn't known about 😂

Before going in I gave the menu a quick scan, then walked right in.

Inside Dufftown: seating and atmosphere

Inside, Dufftown is a small space with about 5-6 tables and a hip, distinctly American interior. You check the menu board, decide, and order at the counter.

The vibe was great!

Taking a photo in that convex mirror over there makes you look super hip, you know? Everyone should snap one 🤞 The restroom is outside to the right — you take the key with you ~~

Oh..!!! Looks like chef Lee Won-il has been here too. My expectations went up 🌟

Inside there are about 5-6 tables, and I heard there's a wait on weekends! We came on a weekday so we sat down without any rush 🫶 But this is such a juicy burger that I feel like I'd wait in line for it again (burgers turn tables fast, after all).

What to order at Dufftown: patty melt and cheese skirt burger sets

What we picked at Dufftown was the best-selling patty melt (also my friend's recommendation) and the new cheese skirt burger. We ordered both as sets and chose sweet potato fries as the side.

The menu! Since it's the best-selling item and my friend recommended it, I ordered the "patty melt." Sweet caramelized onion + cheese + a juicy patty 💕 My friend got the new "cheese skirt burger," which has cheese with a texture like nurungji (crispy scorched rice). We ordered them as sets, and the sweet potato fries = sweet potato, salty-sweet, you have to try them!

The sauces are at the ordering counter, so you can take as much as you want! We ate ours without sauce, so no photo of that. The sweet potato fries were amazing even plain.

Every table has wet wipes ready. Such a nice touch!

After ordering I noticed they have whole mozzarella cheese sticks... and apparently they're a little spicy too..!! I'll definitely have to try them next time 👍🏻

How do the Dufftown burgers taste?

Dufftown's patty melt sits somewhere between a burger and a sandwich, with a crispy exterior, and the combination of a juicy patty and sweet caramelized onion was the best part. The cheese skirt burger tasted almost like pizza, with a crispy, nurungji-like cheese texture that I loved.

Wow! This was truly an American-style burger 🫶 Big eaters really love this kind of thing. Anyone who gets happy just looking at a burger, raise your hand 🙋‍♀️ The cheese skirt burger's look is amazing, the cheese really does look like nurungji 🇺🇸 A combination of America and Korea.

The patty melt felt like something between a burger and a sandwich. But it was seriously crispy, amazing ~~ And the juicy patty was packed with sweet onions, so the combo of juice and onion was the absolute best!!!!

How to eat a Dufftown burger without the mess

While eating I discovered something surprising. Apparently if you flip it upside down, you can eat it more neatly. Did everyone already know this...??? In my whole life I never once thought to flip a burger upside down, lol. I'll remember this and try flipping it next time. Picked up a great tip 🫶

The cheese skirt burger..!!! It tasted a bit like pizza and had a great crispy texture. Its unusual look caught my eye right away. Now I get why people line up for burgers here..👍🏻👍🏻 At this level, I'd line up too ㅠㅠㅠ

And I really love jalapeños and pickles, so I was very satisfied that they came served together 🤞

It was so good I just inhaled it..😂 There are so many burger varieties, I wanted to try one of each 🍔🥤

Can you see the sauce dripping everywhere.. Looking at the photo makes me want to eat it again 😂

When you don't know what to order, go with the best-seller. Good, good, good 🫶

Who is Dufftown Burger best for?

If you want a super juicy burger, I'd recommend the American-style burgers at Dufftown in Jeonpo. It's great for a date, with friends, or with family. The atmosphere is nice too, and it puts you in a good mood (honestly, mostly because the burger is so delicious).
