The interior of Songnim Bok Seongsu Branch was clean and pleasant haha. I visited in the late afternoon and there were already people eating. I'd assumed an eel restaurant would feel crowded and greasy, but the space was kept much tidier than I expected, so it was comfortable to eat in :)

I threw the sizzling pork belly right on the grill next lol. Wow, seriously good. It's not just the eel — the pork belly quality was crazy good too lol.

Grilled to a golden brown, that first bite had great juiciness, and switching from eel to pork belly hit totally differently, so my chopsticks kept going back for more haha. I came looking for a Seongsu-dong local restaurant expecting just eel from the buffet, but I was surprised the pork belly was this good too!

And chicken neck meat can't be skipped either lol. I put it on the grill and cooked it golden brown — chewy texture, mild flavor, really tasty haha. Being able to work through eel → pork belly → chicken neck meat made the buffet lineup feel really solid. Perfect for anyone hunting for unlimited eel in Seongsu-dong who also wants to eat meat alongside it!

Eating eel and meat, of course I had a glass of bokbunja lol. Gotta have a drink alongside a spread like this, right? With the bokbunja too, it felt like a proper, filling meal!
