Why Dwaeji Mansion works for company dinners: the staff grill for you
I'd heard this was a go-to pork belly and pork neck restaurant in Pangyo Avenue France, and now I get why it's so popular for group dinners. What really stood out was that the staff grill the meat for you, so you can just relax and eat! The restaurant is on the 1st floor of Avenue France, so it's easy to get to, and the interior was clean and comfortable. The tables were spaced generously apart too, which made for a relaxed meal! It felt like a space that would suit anything from a date to a family dinner to a big group gathering.

What side dishes come with the meal?
Once you're seated, a neat spread of side dishes arrives — minari (water dropwort), wasabi, pickled ginger, herring roe, and pickled wood ear mushrooms, all of which pair well with the meat!

What two people ordered at Dwaeji Mansion, and what it cost
The menu was easy to order from right at the table using the tablet at each seat!
- Pork belly (150g) ₩18,000
- Pork neck (150g) ₩18,000
- Herring roe bibimbap ₩9,000
There were two of us, and we ordered two servings of pork belly, one of pork neck, and the herring roe bibimbap. Turns out the herring roe bibimbap is a popular side dish!

How did the pork neck and pork belly taste?
First up was the pork neck! The staff grilled it right to the perfect timing, browning the outside while keeping the inside juicy — the more you chewed, the more savory juice came through, and it was delicious. Next was the pork belly, packed with flavor! Where the pork neck was clean and juicy, the pork belly hit you with that signature pork belly richness and savoriness the moment you took a bite — so good.

The star of the meal: herring roe bibimbap for 9,000 won
And the real star of the day was the herring roe bibimbap! I didn't expect much since it was just a side dish, but it was genuinely delicious. I get why so many people order it! The popping texture of the herring roe combined with the sesame oil aroma, and it was even better wrapped in seaweed — I kept going back for more. Taking a spoonful of it between bites of meat really refreshed the palate, and the combination worked so well! The meat quality was great, and the herring roe bibimbap was the real kicker!

The best combination to eat at Dwaeji Mansion
For me, the best combination was dipping the grilled vegetables in the spicy fish sauce, and eating the meat with herring roe, minari, and pickled wood ear mushrooms!

Is Dwaeji Mansion worth it as a Korean BBQ spot near Pangyo Station?
Thanks to the staff grilling everything for us, the meal was completely relaxed — the pork neck was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and paired with the rich pork belly and the umami-packed herring roe bibimbap, it was a genuinely satisfying, high-quality meal! If you're looking for a good pork restaurant near Pangyo Station, or a tasty Korean BBQ spot for a company dinner or group gathering, I'd recommend giving Dwaeji Mansion a try!
