Jeonpo pizza and beer set with buffalo wings in Busan: Freewill Pizza

My partner wanted pizza, so we went to Freewill Pizza, a famous spot in Jeonpo.

How long is the Friday evening wait at Freewill Pizza in Jeonpo?

This is what the exterior looks like. We visited between 6:30 and 7pm on a Friday, and there were 7 parties waiting. I should have put my name on the waiting list before leaving work, but I forgot, haha. If you're going during peak dining hours, I'd definitely recommend joining the wait list ahead of time.

Once you get past the peak hours, it seems like you can eat without waiting from around 8pm onward.

There are about three outdoor seats too, and on cool days like these, eating pizza outside has a nice atmosphere to it.

Ordering the half-and-half beer large set at Freewill Pizza

We sat indoors. They gave us a menu that was unusually framed, like a picture. We ordered the half-and-half beer large set. You also get to pick a side, and after some deliberation we went with the buffalo wings.

There's basic hot sauce already on the table, and they bring over the cutlery.

Inside Freewill Pizza: a New Mexico Navajo-inspired interior

Freewill Pizza's interior design draws inspiration from the Navajo people of New Mexico, which is probably why a lot of foreign guests who look American came in too. I'd been a few times before with my partner, and every time there were plenty of foreign customers, which made me feel like this really is an authentic American-style pizza spot.

I remember there being 7 or more tables in the restaurant. It seemed like a lot of people order delivery and takeout too. I could see a bit of the kitchen inside, and everyone looked busy.

They gave us sauce, pickles, and cutlery. The pickles seemed to be diced cucumber, which I liked for the texture. That sauce was so good I kept eating the crust nonstop with it (I'm normally the type who doesn't bother with the crust once I'm full).

The draft beer that came with the beer set! I didn't get to check what kind it was, sadly.

How the buffalo wings and half-and-half pizza tasted

The buffalo wings we ordered as a side had a seasoned sauce coating on the outside that was delicious! My partner picked them up and cleaned the bones with his hands, but since I'm not a fan of getting my hands messy while eating, I used a fork and knife as much as possible — and I was still able to get the meat off the bone without much trouble.

The buffalo wings were the perfect beer snack.

This is the half-and-half pizza we ordered. Since we were at Freewill Pizza, we picked the Freewill Pizza first and paired it with the Hot Chicken Shrimp.

The Freewill Pizza has house-made tomato sauce, 100% mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, and more — the variety of ingredients gives it a rich feel.

The Hot Chicken Shrimp was a bit spicy for me, since I can't handle spice well. If you're someone who's good with spicy food, you might not notice any heat at all, haha. The Hot Chicken Shrimp was also loaded with cheese, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Freewill Pizza in Jeonpo has generous ingredients so you can enjoy a rich, satisfying meal. If dining in isn't an option, takeout or delivery is a good alternative!
