Dwitdon Sanghoe, Jeonpo Branch
I usually just eat the familiar cuts like samgyeopsal, so this time I decided to properly try rare pork cuts — and Dwitdon Sanghoe let me taste a variety of parts I don't normally get to eat 🥩
Located 2 minutes on foot from Bujeon Station exit 2!

Side dishes and the free bibim guksu at Dwitdon Sanghoe
The side dishes at Dwitdon Sanghoe, Jeonpo Branch are set up to pair well with the meat. Pickled onion, pickled chili, galchi sokjeot (fermented hairtail), and gat kimchi (mustard leaf kimchi) came out.
There was also a variety of dipping sauces

Lettuce for wraps and scallion salad also came out

Tofu kimchi came with the basic sides, which was nice for taking the edge off hunger before the meat arrived ꔛ
And bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles) is included as a basic dish too!

Grilling order and taste of the 8 rare cuts, doraechang and tail
The Dwitdon one-set (1kg) came with 8 kinds of rare cuts (800g) along with doraechang and tail (250g). The plating was clean from the start, with name tags so I could tell which cut was which.

Myeoljeot sauce came out and was left to bubble on the grill
They told me to grill the thinner, leaner cuts first 💬
The meat was clean with no gamy smell

This chewy-textured cut was really tasty too

A bite of meat with bibim guksu adds a sweet-and-sour touch — perfect match 'ڡ'

They also grilled shishito peppers and mushrooms as a garnish 🌶️🍄

The combo of meat and spicy sauce cut through the richness and had an addictive flavor

Eating just one cut the whole time can get a little tiring, but switching between several cuts kept it fun since each one had a different texture

The meat wasn't tough, with just the right amount of chew!

A piece of meat on lettuce and — chomp — 🥬
What doraechang and pig tail actually taste like
Grilled to a golden brown, doraechang turns slightly crisp on the outside and stays chewy inside 〰︎

Dipped deep into makjang, it had a rich, savory flavor

The pig tail was oddly memorable
Grilled golden on the pan, it had that distinctive chewy texture of skin and collagen ꔛ

Dipped deep into the red sauce, a bit of spice was added and the flavor really came alive!
Finishing with doenjang sulbap for 7,000 won
After the meat, the doenjang sulbap you can't skip was packed with meat, tofu, and zucchini

With rice mixed into the savory doenjang-based broth, I kept reaching for another spoonful 🥄

It cut through the richness completely and made for a warm, satisfying finish
With so many different rare cuts to enjoy however you like, this was a great spot — if you're looking for a good pork BBQ restaurant in Jeonpo-dong, give it a visit!
