As soon as I stepped inside, the clean, upscale interior caught my eye. The mix of white and wood gave the whole space a warm feel. There were plenty of tables, with generous space between them, so it felt nice and relaxed. The staff were all kind too, which made the entire visit feel even better.

This is what we ordered.

A neat bossam set meal served individually

Ta-da! Our neat bossam set meals arrived shortly after.

Full neat bossam set meal

It comes out so beautifully arranged, just like its name suggests. I can see why so many people seek it out as a great lunch restaurant in Jangyu Yulha.

Full spread of dishes in the bossam set meal

It is a full spread that makes your mouth water just looking at it: moist, tender bossam, tofu, kimchi, a fresh salad, steamed egg, doenjang-jjigae (soybean-paste stew), wrap vegetables, seasoned fish cake, and gungchae (seasoned stem lettuce).

Individual bossam set meal

Since it comes as an individual setting, it looked even neater and more appetizing. The doenjang-jjigae was packed with tofu and zucchini, giving it a deep flavor. It was not overly strong, so I think it would suit all ages and tastes. And the fluffy steamed egg—what more is there to say? It was nutty and soft, perfect for waking up the appetite.

Nutty, soft steamed egg

The salad with its fresh citron dressing was so refreshing and delicious too.

The moist, tender bossam combination

The highlight of the bossam set meal was, of course, the moist and tender bossam.

Moist bossam

There was a generous amount of shredded radish salad and kimchi too, making them great to eat with the tofu and bossam.

Bossam wrap combination

There was no unwanted pork smell, and the balance of lean meat and fat was just right, making it extra tender and delicious. The pork itself was so good that every combination tasted great haha. It was delicious on its own, but personally, my favorite was making a wrap with shredded radish salad, kimchi, and garlic. The tofu-and-kimchi pairing was the best too. I was so satisfied—it felt like I had enjoyed a healthy, delicious meal.

Finishing with citron tea and a nutty Americano

There are citron tea, maesil tea (plum tea), and a coffee machine, so you can finish your meal on a clean note too haha. The coffee here is excellent as well. The Americano was nutty and smooth without acidity—exactly my taste. It had been a while since I had a hot coffee, and both the aroma and flavor were lovely.

Nutty Americano to finish

ZeroPay and Naver Pay are accepted too, making payment easy.
