Pangyo pasta restaurant with Galvanina soda and lasagna: Andover
In short
Andover is a pasta restaurant on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo, Seongnam. Booked ahead for a 6pm weekend dinner, the table came with Galvanina lemon soda and blood orange soda, jambon cream pasta and a tall layered lasagna, ordered by QR code. Even without alcohol, Andover's mood and menu were more than enough for a weekend evening.

Today I want to introduce an atmospheric pasta place I visited while on vacation in Pangyo. It's located on the Pangyo café street. That café street... a friend of mine used to live nearby so I came often back then, but visiting again after a while, it felt even more full of that certain感性 (vibe) — somehow more polished and charming.

Where do you park on the Pangyo café street?
We parked at the Baekhyeon-dong café street public parking lot. If you have a receipt from a store visit, the first hour is free, and you only pay for the time after that.
Just in case, I'll attach a map of the public parking lot too!
Andover's exterior and outdoor terrace
The place I visited is a pasta restaurant called Andover :)

The exterior is so pretty and full of that vibe, right?

The outdoor terrace is also so pretty, perfect for using on a day like this with nice, cool weather.

Inside Andover: seating and the 6pm weekend reservation
Let me show you the inside. Andover had quite a lot of seats and a large interior.

The restaurant just has great atmosphere. Right?!

We visited at 6pm on a Saturday, and since we had reserved ahead, they'd already set the table for us!

The interior design itself was so pretty and the mood so good that I couldn't stop taking photos. They also sell champagne and various wines.

Ordering by QR code and what's on Andover's menu
At Andover you order via the QR code on the table.

The menu is huge and varied. Andover also has its own special dishes, so read the descriptions carefully before ordering.

Not drinking? Galvanina lemon soda and blood orange soda
Since we don't drink alcohol, we ordered Galvanina lemon soda and Galvanina blood orange soda.
Honestly, I loved the glasses from the start haha. Highly recommend these two drinks for anyone who can't drink alcohol. It's a not-so-common lemon/orange carbonated flavor, somehow — different from the very sweet Fanta or lemonade. Strongly recommend!

Cheers! And gulp gulp.

What does Andover's jambon cream pasta taste like?
And here's the jambon cream pasta that came out. It's Andover's cream pasta with jambon, pistachio, and arugula added.
Just mix it well and eat. The pasta wasn't too salty at all, the seasoning was just right. In particular the combination of arugula and cream was so good. I love arugula so much. Anyone who likes arugula will love this.

Andover's top pick: the tall, layered lasagna
Next we ordered the lasagna. I've been enjoying a variety show called Jiguorak-sil lately, and they made this lasagna on the show. Watching that made me crave lasagna so badly. So I ordered it at Andover!
The visual is truly the best, and this lasagna is my number one pick at Andover. Unlike the typical thin, flat lasagna, Andover's version is stacked layer upon layer with quite a bit of height, so it looked generous at a glance. Take a bite and between the lasagna sheets there's a ragu sauce packed with meat, all coming together with cheese and soft béchamel cream — the flavor is rich and full.
Look how much cheese and sauce there is..!! In particular you can really taste the meat in the ragu sauce, so it's not just a plain tomato-sauce lasagna — anyone who likes a savory, heavy flavor will enjoy this.

The béchamel cream runs through it and softens the acidity of the tomato ragu! Ragu sauce + cheese + béchamel cream — that combo is hard to make taste bad haha.

Even the house-made pickles were perfect for cutting through the richness.

— The mood, though. Perfect for atmospheric shots.

Andover also sells its sauces to take home
Not just the lasagna — they make and sell various sauces themselves, so if you want to enjoy Andover's flavor at home, buying some of these would be a great idea. If you're looking for a pasta restaurant with great atmosphere on the Baekhyeon-dong café street, I highly recommend visiting Andover.
